This role encompasses various organizational strategic, operational, and leadership functions. ​​The Client Lead role is intended for accounts with long-term growth potential, and the number of accounts assigned to each Client Lead may vary depending on the level of effort required to support them. Activities may include things such as:

  • Sales support
  • Solution staffing 
  • Executive Leadership
  • Operational oversight
  • Account prioritization
  • Operational resiliency
  • Solution development
  • Analysis of sales outcomes
  • Team leadership and mentorship
  • Client account management and growth
  • Mentoring for scalable creation of services and delivery
  • Offering development with a focus on market strategy and product development

Travel for team and client meetings is required, typically up to 20%.

Areas of Responsibility

The Client Lead is a strategic role requiring business acumen, Product leadership, digital expertise, and exceptional Consulting skills. This individual is familiar with a large-scale Digital Product environment and will act as the primary liaison between the consultancy and its clients, ensuring that all projects align with the client's strategic objectives and are delivered to the highest standards.

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Understand the client's business, including their industry, competitive landscape, and business drivers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing consistent, timely, and effective communication.

Strategic Consulting

  • Collaborate with clients to identify their business needs and objectives.
  • Provide strategic advice on how digital solutions can address client challenges and drive growth.
  • Work closely with the consulting team to ensure that proposed solutions align with the client's strategic goals.

Delivery & Project Oversight

  • Maintain an annual 25% billable target 
  • Provide SME Solutions support for pursuit opportunities and RFP responses
  • Successfully build and maintain client relationships and identify opportunities for extension 
  • Mentor and foster internal relationships as a workstream lead across the various business units 
  • Serve as a project lead and SME on various engagements 
  • Oversee the delivery of digital consulting projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, address any issues that arise, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.

Account Growth

  • Identify opportunities for expanding business with existing clients
  • Collaborate with the sales team to pursue opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals and presentations for new business pitches.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and digital innovations to continuously offer value-added solutions to clients.

Collaboration and Leadership Enterprise Solutions

  • Work closely with various teams within the consultancy, including strategy, technology, and creative teams, to deliver holistic digital solutions.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages the sharing of ideas and best practices.
  • Mentor and support team members, contributing to their professional growth.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience working in a Consulting, Digital Services Agency or Industry 
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles within the digital consulting or similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies and how they can be leveraged to solve business problems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering results.
