Director, Product Strategy

Atlanta, Charlotte, New York, Remote

Method is a global design and engineering consultancy founded in 1999. We believe that innovation should be meaningful, beautiful and human. We craft practical, powerful digital experiences that improve lives and transform businesses. Our teams [based in New York, Charlotte, Atlanta, London, Bengaluru, and remote] work with a wide range of organizations in many industries, including Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Automotive, Aviation, and Professional Services.

Method is part of GlobalLogic, a digital product engineering company. GlobalLogic integrates experience design and complex engineering to help our clients imagine what’s possible and accelerate their transition into tomorrow’s digital businesses. GlobalLogic is a Hitachi Group Company.

As the Director, Product Strategy, you will lead a high-performing team of product strategists while serving as a leader for key accounts. Your mandate: grow people, grow clients, and grow the practice. You will coach teams in the craft of product strategy, guide executives toward clear business outcomes, and ensure our work reflects Method’s Modern Product point of view across Digital Transformation, Strategy and Build.

This is a leadership role that stays close to the work, our clients and continuously coaches team members. You will be part of a Global team and report to the VP, Head of Global Product Strategy.

Travel for team and client meetings is required, typically up to 20%, but will be as needed.

Responsibilities:

Client Leadership (Consulting & Growth)

  • Own senior relationships; establish outcome-based charters, success measures, and governance rhythms.
  • Lead account health: delivery quality, risk management, forecasting, and commercial hygiene (SOWs, change orders, margin).
  • Shape strategic roadmaps and portfolio bets with client executives; connect product outcomes to business value.
  • Expand the partnership: identify growth opportunities, co-craft proposals, and build the right team to deliver.

People Leadership & Delivery Excellence

  • Hire, onboard, and develop a diverse team of product strategists and leads (manager-of-managers).
  • Run a consistent cadence: 1:1s, goals/OKRs, feedback cycles, promotions, and compensation planning.
  • Coach consultants to “think left” (earlier, more strategic): problem framing, discovery quality, and executive storytelling.
  • Uphold a healthy, inclusive culture grounded in accountability, kindness, and high standards.
  • Ensure Method capabilities show up on every engagement:
  • Step in as Engagement Lead or strategist for critical moments (not as a full-time IC).
Champion evidence-based decisions: hypotheses, experiments, and metrics that tie to business value for our clients.

Practice & Business Growth

  • Advance Method’s Modern Product POV through playbooks, case studies, and thought leadership.
  • Partner with Sales and Delivery Ops on scoping, estimation, staffing, and utilization planning.
  • Represent Method in the market (events, roundtables, recruiting); attract talent that elevates the bar.

How You’ll Work (Typical Mix)

  • People leadership & practice building: 40–60%
  • Client leadership & billable strategy work: 20–40% (select moments that matter)
  • Growth & community/market activity: 10–20%
(Exact allocation flexes with business needs.)

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in product strategy/management or adjacent fields with 8+ years leading teams in a consulting/services context.
  • Proven Client Lead/Engagement Lead experience: executive alignment, outcome definition, commercial stewardship (SOWs, margin, forecasting).
  • Demonstrated strength in client leadership, transformation and product development with depth in at least one and range across the others.
  • Operator mindset: you can diagnose org/process issues, shape operating models, and stand up effective governance.
  • Excellent communicator and coach: you turn ambiguity into clarity, and feedback into growth.
  • Comfort with enterprise B2B environments and complex demanding stakeholder landscapes.
  • Track record building internal communities of practice or product ops capabilities.
  • Thought leadership: talks, articles, or playbooks others use.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
