Position Overview 

ROOST Detroit is seeking a calm, attentive, and highly reliable Overnight Front Desk Concierge to support our guests and property during overnight hours. This role is ideal for someone who excels in guest service, maintains a polished and professional presence, and can confidently handle both hospitality and light overnight operational tasks. As the primary overnight point of contact, you’ll ensure the safety, comfort, and seamless experience of all guests throughout the night. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Welcome and assist guests with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency 
  • Manage check‑ins, check‑outs, and reservation inquiries during overnight hours 
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns 
  • Monitor building access and maintain a secure, calm overnight environment 
  • Conduct property walkthroughs and report any maintenance or safety issues 
  • Handle overnight phone calls, emails, and guest communications 
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and nightly reports 
  • Support light administrative tasks and prepare materials for the morning team 
  • Ensure the lobby and front desk areas remain clean, organized, and guest‑ready 
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management as needed 

Qualifications 

  • 1+ year of front desk, concierge, or guest‑service experience (hotel or luxury residential preferred) 
  • Strong communication skills and a naturally warm, guest‑focused demeanor 
  • Ability to remain composed, professional, and attentive during quiet or high‑pressure moments 
  • Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions overnight 
  • Basic proficiency with reservation systems and front‑office software 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Flexible schedule with availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
