Metron is seeking a highly qualified Market Launch Strategy Manager with experience leading strategy development and managing product launches in the maritime industry both in the Government and commercial markets to lead a one-year product launch project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding and navigating the complex tasks of moving a product from public sector to private sector, including but not limited to full understanding of the defense industry including IP regulations and hurdles. The Market Lauch Strategy Manager will oversee development of a new product launch project and ensure deliverability within scope and budget by tracking and communicating milestones to internal and external customers. This project lasts one year and can be performed on a part-time basis, remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategy for product launch strategy including market analysis, identification of targets, creation of a sales & business development plan and a differentiation plan including but not limited to site visits and reports to show meeting of strategy objectives, including press campaigns or other external marketing efforts
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, panels and business development calls to meet strategy objectives
- Create CI/CD pipeline to meet customer input
- Ensure Metron IP is protected while developing customers and engaging in business development objectives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or Finance
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant product marketing experience
- Strong understanding of early-stage technology development with specific examples of product launches in the public sector
- Proven track record of business development, including developing strategy and communicating with necessary stake holders to meet sales goals
- Experiencing managing tradeshows and/or conferences, including speaking on panels, as well as
- Experience forming strategic partnerships for the purpose of executing on business development strategy
- Experience in the maritime industry, both Government and commercial, specific to product launch and business development activities
