Who you are


Metropolis is seeking a Manager, Launch Operations (East Region) to oversee hundreds of regional site launches and ensure operational readiness from contracting through post-launch monitoring. In this highly cross-functional role, you will partner closely with Local Operations, Sales, Business Development, Product, and Tech teams to maintain real-time visibility into deployment progress, ensure alignment across leadership, and hit crucial launch timelines. Your work will directly impact individual and enterprise onboarding, shape new product features, and drive subscriber conversion to deliver a seamless experience for our partners and members across the region. As a serial problem-solver, builder, and data-driven decision-maker, you thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, comfortable digging into data, challenging standard operational methods, and turning chaos into structure to continuously scale operations.

What you’ll do

 

  • Oversee hundreds of new site launches across the East Region from contracting through post-launch execution
  • Provide occasional in-person support on go-live days through required regional travel
  • Manage budgeting and signage requests for your region, coordinating timely ordering with field teams to eliminate expedited shipping costs
  • Own regional launch reporting for company leadership, maintaining a real-time pulse on project statuses
  • Collaborate alongside Sales, Product, Tech, and Local Operations to keep all launch deliverables on track
  • Partner with property managers, real estate partners, and internal operations to support comprehensive tenant and enterprise onboarding
  • Educate and align field teams on new platforms, tools, and updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Partner with Product and Tech to build automated tools and establish SOPs that eliminate manual operational work
  • Leverage AI tools, Salesforce, and Trello to optimize data flows, maintain system hygiene, and streamline static workflows into high-output processes
  • Deploy automated pre-launch email drip campaigns to drive subscriber conversion and user adoption
What we’re looking fo

  • 5+ years of total work experience, with 3+ years in operations, strategy, consulting, or project management

    Demonstrated track record of managing complex, multi-site projects from contracting to post-launch execution

  • Proficiency or working knowledge of project management and CRM tools such as Salesforce, Trello, JIRA, and Tableau
  • Experience using AI tools to optimize workflows 
  • Experience pulling data and owning operational metrics reported directly to executive leadership
  • Proven experience deploying automated email campaigns to drive user or subscriber conversion
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across internal teams, external partners, and property managers
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for critical on-site go-lives
  • Passion for transportation, parking, mobility, logistics, or real estate technology
  • Experience in a fast-paced tech environment

  • Anticipated Base Salary: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 annually.

    Actual base pay offered is determined by qualifications, years of relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location. Base pay is part of Metropolis’s total compensation package, which may include healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short- and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, bonus plans, and more.
