We are hiring a Director of IT to lead infrastructure, security, and IT operations across all clinics and corporate environments.
This role ensures our systems are secure, reliable, and ready to scale as we continue expanding nationally. You will support 700+ employees across 65+ locations and build the operational discipline required for a multi state healthcare platform.
You will manage a lean internal team and external partners, establish clear standards, and create repeatable processes that reduce risk and improve performance as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
Core Systems Integration and Maintenance
- Oversight over the technology platforms
- Ensure stable integration and ongoing performance of core systems including EMR, CRM, phone, and patient engagement platforms
- Maintain secure data flows between systems in coordination with Growth and Data team
- Support system upgrades, patches, and version control across enterprise applications
- Monitor system performance and proactively address integration failures
- Own infrastructure readiness for new system implementations
- Provide technical oversight during enterprise platform transitions
Infrastructure, Security, and Reliability
- Standardize connectivity, firewalls, cloud environments, and endpoint management
- Maintain uptime across clinic and corporate systems
- Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Own HIPAA security program and annual risk assessment
- Oversee endpoint protection, patch management, encryption, and device security
- Lead identity and access management including SSO and least privilege controls
- Manage cybersecurity vendors and incident response readiness
IT Operations and End User Support
- Lead help desk operations supporting 700+ employees
- Own ticketing system, SLAs, and escalation paths
- Track response time and resolution metrics and eliminate recurring issues
- Provision devices and system access prior to employee start dates
- Execute immediate access removal during offboarding
- Conduct periodic access audits in partnership with HR
- Standardize IT setup for new clinic launches
- Support ISP coordination, networking, and device deployment for new sites
- Maintain backup connectivity solutions for high volume clinics
- Manage MDM, asset inventory, and device lifecycle planning
- Build internal knowledge base and support playbooks
Vendor and Financial Management
- Manage IT operating budget and capital planning
- Negotiate and oversee vendor contracts and service performance
- Conduct technical and security due diligence for new vendors
- Drive cost efficiency across infrastructure and licensing
What You Bring
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience
- Experience leading IT in a multi location healthcare or distributed environment
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and healthcare security requirements
- Deep knowledge of networking, cloud infrastructure, endpoint management, and cybersecurity controls
- Experience managing MSPs and external vendors
- Ability to build process and discipline in a fast moving, high growth organization

Compensation for this role varies based on years of experience, skill set, and alignment with position requirements.
Compensation:
$160,000 - $190,000 USD
