We are searching for a Wireless Solutions Engineer to join our expanding Mobility team. As a Wireless Solution Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in helping our prospects understand the value of our solutions. 

If you naturally enjoy finding creative solutions to position our customers for success or addressing their needs, then this opportunity may be for you. With your deep product knowledge and expertise, you will educate customers on the various solutions they can utilize to meet their connectivity business needs. You will partner and support the sales team during the sales process as well as align closely with internal teams to create unique solutions that solve our customers' technical and financial requirements.

Within this role you will:

  • Play a critical role in helping our prospects understand the value of MetTel
  • Leverage deep product knowledge to lead the technical aspect in large and complex sales processes
  • Initiate discovery process to gain an understanding of the prospects business and financial requirements
  • Provide technical expertise in customer engagements specifically around MetTel's suite of mobility products and services
  • Help deliver enticing presentations, and proposals, highlighting MetTel’s technical differentiators.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into the actionable scope of work items.
  • Conduct effective customer meetings and gather, document, and influence requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver enthusiastic and engaging technical presentations.
  • Develop strong positive relationships with various individuals and key customer contacts. 
  • Discover and identify potential new opportunities (wider and deeper).
  • Articulate MetTel's value proposition.
  • Stay current with industry specific technology, through provided internal training and tool.
  • Lead discovery calls with customers and uncover any opportunities.
  • Be able to confidently navigate a room and present to enthusiastically and engage executive teams

Travel Requirement: Up to 30-40%

 
Skills and Experience:

  • Technical expertise in required technologies: pre-sales knowledge in API automation IT systems and some working knowledge of 4G/5G Wireless Technologies ranging from services for smartphones, to IoT solutions
  • Competency in other solution sets: Mobile Device Management including Workspace One, MS Intune, Scalefusion, Samsung Knox, Apple Business Manager, Google zero touch, Checkpoint Harmoney.
  • Understanding of sales cycles and the solution selling process, preferably at multiple levels, i.e., Discovery, Deep dive, recommendation, sale
  • Strong knowledge of IT Ticketing systems and API integrations process
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Excellent client management/resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong understanding of business drivers
  • Self-motivation but can work well independently and as part of a team
  • Experience translating business requirements to technical requirements
  • Experience with SOW creation, scoping/pricing services
  • Experience with competitive positioning

 

Minimum Qualifications/Technical and Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience; or 5 years professional level related Pre-Sales, Engineering/Technical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related.

Technical Certifications a plus

 

 

This position has a base compensation package offered up to $140,000 commensurate with education and experience.  This position is also eligible for additional variable compensations programs.
