Product Manager - Wireless Slutions

New York, New York, United States

MetTel is a global communications solutions provider with the most complete suite of fully managed services that focus on secure connectivity, and network and mobility services. We simplify communications and networking for business and government agencies. Our customers include many of the Fortune 500, and Gartner recognizes us as an industry leader. We have the broadest portfolio of technology and integrated partnerships, as well as our private network, which we use to create tailored solutions design, deployment, and ongoing management, driving cost savings, efficiency, innovation, and the ability to focus on core objectives.

We believe that each team member is a key to the success and sustainability of the group. In order to achieve this, we offer an environment where all professionals can grow and develop their skills and competencies, collaborate with diverse professionals, share knowledge and enjoy a rewarding career.

As Product Manager, Wireless Solutions, you will own the discovery, definition, and launch of net-new value-added services that expand what MetTel delivers to wireless customers — beyond connectivity management and into solutions that create measurable business impact. Think IoT-enabled fleet and asset intelligence, advanced mobile security bundles, 5G use-case monetization, AI-driven device lifecycle optimization, and carrier-agnostic intelligence layers that no single carrier can offer.

This is a builder role. You will be expected to bring structure to ambiguity, move from concept to validated MVP, and champion new offerings through Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to get them to market.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

New Solution Discovery & Definition

  • Identify, validate, and prioritize net-new wireless opportunities through customer research, market analysis, and carrier partner collaboration
  • Build and maintain a wireless innovation pipeline, converting insights from Sales, Customer Success, and the field into structured product hypotheses
  • Define opportunity size, business model, and go-to-market approach for each initiative before committing engineering and partnership resources
  • Conduct competitive analysis across carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile), managed mobility peers, and ISVs to identify white space and differentiation opportunities

Product Development & Roadmap Execution

  • Own the wireless solutions roadmap from concept through GA, partnering with Engineering, UX, and Operations to deliver
  • Partner with the Bruin platform team to ensure new wireless solutions are integrated seamlessly into MetTel's core enterprise mobility management system
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies across carrier integrations, BSS/OSS systems, and third-party platforms

Partner & Carrier Collaboration

  • Serve as the product owner for key carrier relationships (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and others) as they relate to new solution co-development
  • Evaluate partner capabilities, co-marketing opportunities, and API integration paths to accelerate time-to-market for new offerings
  • Partner with the Integrations + API team to ensure new wireless solutions are integrated seamlessly into MetTel's core enterprise mobility management system

Go-to-Market & Revenue Enablement

  • Define pricing models, packaging, and positioning for new wireless solutions in collaboration with Finance, Sales, and Marketing
  • Build Sales enablement materials — battlecards, solution briefs, pitch decks — that equip the field to position new offerings effectively
  • Partner with Channel and TSD teams to extend distribution of new solutions through MetTel's agent and reseller network
  • Define KPIs, establish baseline metrics, and track product-market fit and revenue performance post-launch

Customer & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct ongoing voice-of-customer research — interviews, win/loss analysis, NPS deep dives — to surface unmet needs in the enterprise wireless buyer journey
  • Represent the voice of the wireless product portfolio in executive forums, CAB sessions, and analyst briefings

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Own and drive the net-new wireless solutions roadmap from ideation through commercial launch
  • Deliver at least two new value-added wireless offerings to market in year one with measurable pipeline or revenue contribution
  • Collaborate with Sales and Channel to align solution development with active customer needs and market demand signals
  • Maintain a healthy innovation backlog — continuously sourcing, scoring, and prioritizing new ideas against business value and feasibility
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to ensure new solutions are scalable, supportable, and integrated with Bruin and downstream systems
  • Present roadmap updates, business cases, and launch readiness reviews to the AVP of Mobile Products and executive leadership
  • Define success criteria and lead retrospectives for each launch to drive continuous improvement in the innovation process

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least two years in a wireless, telecommunications, or mobility-adjacent domain
  • Demonstrated track record of launching net-new products or features from 0-to-1, not just iterating on existing capabilities
  • Deep familiarity with the enterprise wireless ecosystem — carriers, device OEMs, MDM/UEM platforms, and managed mobility market dynamics
  • Strong commercial instincts — ability to define pricing, size opportunity, and articulate ROI for new solutions
  • Experience writing PRDs, leading discovery sprints, and working with agile engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — comfortable presenting to senior executives and engaging directly with enterprise customers
  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments with a bias toward action and velocity

Preferred

  • Experience at a carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile), managed service provider, or enterprise mobility management (EMM/UEM) vendor
  • Background in B2B SaaS go-to-market, including channel sales motions and agent/TSD distribution
  • MBA or advanced degree

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
