About Mezo Design
Design at Mezo, a platform under the Thesis portfolio, aims to make interacting with Bitcoin ‘SuperNormal.’ We aim to provide distinguished utility for Bitcoin holders. This role is paramount in communicating the value proposition of the features we build, with benefits that impact the lives of people with an array of goals they have with holding Bitcoin.
The Visual + Graphic Designer is tasked with collaborating with our Growth & Marketing, Engineering, Product, and Design Teams.
What You’ll Do:
Brand Identity and Design Consistency

Develop creative visual concepts for marketing campaigns, advertising, and other content needs, ensuring they align with the brand's aesthetic vision and goals.

Ensure all visual assets adhere to established brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent and cohesive look across all platforms and media.
Growth Marketing Design

Design compelling visuals for social media campaigns that engage the audience and reflect the brand’s tone and personality.

Produce high-quality ad creatives for digital and print advertising, optimizing for impact and clarity.

Design marketing materials, including banners, brochures, posters, social media assets, and promotional content.

Create presentations and pitch decks that visually communicate key ideas and information in an engaging, visually coherent way.

Develop print design materials such as flyers, booklets, business cards, and product packaging, ensuring high-quality output and alignment with the brand's messaging.
Visual Concept Development

Translate creative briefs and ideas into engaging, well-executed visual concepts.

Design layouts that optimize visual storytelling and enhance the presentation of key information.

Create custom illustrations, icons, and other graphical elements as needed to support marketing and branding efforts.

Develop scalable, high-quality visual elements that can be used across various formats (digital, print, etc.).
Brand System and Component Libraries

Contribute to the development and maintenance of a brand system in tools like Figma, ensuring consistent use of colors, typography, and visual elements across all design work.

Build and co-manage a component library for visual assets, ensuring that design elements are reusable, scalable, and aligned with the company’s brand identity.
Ideally, What You’ll Have:
- Expertise in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.).
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition.
- Ability to create cohesive visual elements and assets that align with evolving brand guidelines.
- Experience with illustration and iconography creation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality visual work.
- Experience developing and managing brand systems and component libraries.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining brand guidelines and libraries, and contributing to the evolution of brand identity.
- Experience collaborating with marketing, branding, and product teams to ensure visual elements support the overall messaging and campaign goals.
Even Better if You Can:
- Assist in defining and evolving the company’s visual direction and strategy, contributing creative ideas that drive brand recognition and engagement.
- Experience introducing and implementing brand system best practices to enhance engagement and align with Super Normal as a brand narrative.
- Analyze content performance using metrics such as engagement rates, click-through rates, and user feedback to inform content strategy and improve user engagement.
- Conduct A/B testing on content variations to gather data on user preferences, iterating and optimizing content based on results for maximum impact.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Experience implementing visual design systems across platforms in an iterative software development environment, applying design tools (e.g. Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch).
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization. 2 years of experience leading design projects. 1 year of experience working with executive leaders.
- Problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile (Android and iOS).
- Ability to communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale within a user-centered design process.
- Skills in communicating and influencing product design strategy.
