Your Mission

We are looking for a high-performing Account Manager to drive client retention, growth, and expansion within our existing customer base. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder and revenue driver—someone who is strategic, proactive, and skilled at managing high-value accounts.

You will be responsible for renewing, upselling, and cross-selling to current clients while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. As a key player on our team, you will work closely with Customer Success, Research Strategy, and Marketing to execute growth strategies and ensure client success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Client Onboarding & Relationship Management

  • Co-lead onboarding sessions with BDRs, CS, and Research teams to align on goals and processes.
  • Serve as the primary commercial relationship manager post-sale.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins, business reviews, and strategic progress updates.
  • Develop and execute account growth plans tailored to each client’s needs.

Renewals, Upselling, & Expansion

  • Proactively identify and mitigate churn risks.
  • Lead renewal discussions, ensuring seamless contract negotiations.
  • Develop strategic upsell and cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with Research and Marketing.
  • Leverage insights and data to drive client success and expansion.

Expanding the Buyer Base

  • Use Account-Based Marketing (ABM) to identify new buyers within existing client accounts.
  • Engage with additional stakeholders to expand relationships and revenue opportunities.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to execute targeted outreach campaigns.

Collaboration & Internal Strategy

  • Partner with Customer Success, Business Development, and Research teams to ensure smooth client experiences.
  • Provide feedback on client needs, product improvements, and competitive positioning.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and other CRM tools to track pipeline and growth performance.

 

Qualifications That Set You Apart

  • 2+ years of account management, sales, or business development experience in a B2B environment selling to MR industry buyers.
  • Experience managing high-value accounts (100K+ annual spend) and driving renewals, upsells, and expansions.
  • Knowing how to sell on value, not price.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong ability to identify and act on growth opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with key decision-makers.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track pipeline and client growth.
  • Knowledge of MFour’s market research solutions, advertising, or SaaS industry is a plus.
