The Challenge
MFour is expanding its offerings with a new suite of syndicated data products. The company's extensive panel provides the largest US collection of zero-party behavioral data, transforming consumer market research and redefining data-driven business decisions. This data will fuel an unprecedented AI-powered research engine, uncovering hidden patterns, future trends, and countless insights in near real-time.
Reporting directly to the CTO, this role will collaborate across the organization to define and deliver the solution to the market.
This role will be instrumental in:
- Capitalizing on MFour's mobile-first approach to capture real-time consumer behavior and deliver in-the-moment insights.
- Leveraging MFour's high-quality panel to provide accurate and representative data, potentially with unique demographic or characteristic advantages.
- Utilizing cutting-edge technology and analytics to unlock deeper insights and deliver more sophisticated reporting capabilities.
- Identifying underserved needs and white spaces within specific industry verticals where MFour can add unique value.
- *Developing and executing a winning GTM strategy to reach target customers and establish MFour as a leader in syndicated data offerings.
Your Mission
Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification:
- Conduct thorough market research to understand the competitive landscape, identify key players, and analyze their strengths and weaknesses.
- Identify underserved needs and white spaces within target industries.
- Analyze market trends and emerging technologies to anticipate future needs.
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Define a clear and compelling product vision for MFours syndicated offerings.
- Develop a product roadmap that prioritizes opportunities and aligns with MFours overall strategy.
- Determine the optimal data sources, methodologies, and analytical techniques.
Product Development & Execution:
- Translate market needs into detailed product specifications.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and researchers to develop and refine products.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy:
- Develop a compelling value proposition and positioning for each offering.
- Identify the right channels and tactics to reach target customers (e.g., content marketing, industry events, partnerships).
- Work closely with sales and marketing to ensure successful product launches.
Data Quality & Methodology:
- Champion data quality and methodological rigor.
- Ensure that MFours offerings adhere to industry best practices and ethical standards.
- Oversee the implementation of advanced techniques like weighting and inference to enhance data accuracy and representativeness.
Qualifications that set you apart
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the market research or data and analytics industry.
- Deep understanding of syndicated data and its applications in marketing and consumer research.
- Strong knowledge of the Fortune 1000 industries and their marketing needs.
- Proven ability to define product vision, develop product strategies, and launch successful products.
