
Retail Asset Manager

We are seeking a Retail Asset Manager to lead the financial performance and business planning of MG’s growing mixed use multifamily/commercial/retail portfolio. The Retail Asset Manager will work with Executive Leadership, Multifamily Asset Management, Investments, Leasing, Property Management, Construction, and Finance/Accounting.
Essential Responsibilities
- Participate in the annual property budgeting process.
- Participate in the business plan preparation, due diligence, financial analysis, creation of stabilization budgets, and cash flow forecasts of potential mixed-use acquisitions.
- Manage and oversee listing brokers, attorneys, and tenant improvement project managers.
- Manage negotiations of letters of intent, leases, renewals, and terminations while maintaining strong tenant relationships, ensuring lease compliance, and while considering local market conditions.
- Track and report on portfolio operating results to identify trends and opportunities to enhance value.
- Prepare presentations and reports to ownership and partners/investors, as needed.
- Track market conditions and performance in relation to current portfolio performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, accounting, or related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of direct experience in commercial asset management, space marketing, LOI and lease negotiations and administration, with emphasis on retail properties.
- Financial analysis and/or accounting experience.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze quantitative information.
- Ability to create and work within existing sophisticated Excel-based reports/spreadsheets.
- Proficiency in Yardi property management software or equivalent.
Compensation and Benefits
- $120,000- $150,000/annual DOE
- 12% Bonus potential

California pay range
$120,000 - $150,000 USD
