This critical position is situated in our Talent Solutions division, where we've cultivated a robust partnership with a highly esteemed client. The Vice President of Information Technology role operates externally from our internal functions at Myers-Holum. The right candidate is strategic and dynamic with expertise in global IT leadership to lead our IT department's efforts in leading our company evolution, and mapping out a clear vision for growth. This includes maximizing the value of our IT systems (including ERP, PLM, OMS, WMS, POS), overseeing project prioritization, team support, and continuous improvement of IT operations, ensuring that it aligns with business goals and contributes to overall organizational success. This individual will drive the IT strategy, manage cross-functional projects, and provide leadership to a team of IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management:
    • Serve as the subject matter expert for all things IT, managing the full life cycle of the system from implementation to ongoing optimization.
    • Lead the strategy and execution for the integration of NetSuite, Shopify, Salesforce, Azure, with other enterprise systems and technologies.
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the IT platforms, including user management, system troubleshooting, and configuration management.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee IT projects, including new implementations, upgrades, and customizations, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
    • Lead and prioritize projects that include but are not limited to: Salesforce and Mulesoft OMS project, NetSuite ERP implementation, channel expansion (DTC, wholesale and retail), geographic expansion (US, Asia, Europe), retail launch scheduled for 2026.
    • Manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and adoption of IT functionalities.
  • Technology Management:
    • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, data management, and cloud solutions.
    • Manage all systems including but not limited to: PLM, Shopify, Azure, NetSuite ERP (implementation in progress), POS.
    • Manage all IT operations, ensuring systems run efficiently and securely while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies.
    • Establish IT governance policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Strategic Planning 
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement IT and NetSuite strategies that support business objectives.
    • Provide strategic guidance on system upgrades, enhancements, and new technologies to ensure that implemented business systems remain a key enabler of business operations.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Act as the primary liaison with IT and third-party vendors, ensuring strong relationships and effective collaboration.
    • Build relationships with 3PLs and locate new warehouse locations
    • Evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and other agreements.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the IT team.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to senior IT staff and manage performance to achieve department and organizational goals.
  • Training and Support:
    • Develop and deliver training programs for end users to maximize the effectiveness of IT systems across the organization.
    • Provide ongoing support to end users and resolve issues related to all business systems in place 
  • Business Process Optimization:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate business processes, focusing on improving operational efficiency and business intelligence.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the IT environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience (10+ years) in senior IT leadership roles, including at least 5 years in a VP or similar executive-level position.
    • Previous luxury/fashion industry experience required
    • Proven experience managing IT teams, projects, and budgets
    • Strong background in business system management (ERP, PLM, OMS, WMS) business process optimization, and IT strategy.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • In-depth knowledge of business system functionalities including financials, supply chain, inventory, CRM, and reporting.
    • Proven experience in implementing and continuous improvement with systems including ERP, PLM, OMS, WMS.
    • Understanding of direct to consumer retail and wholesale channels.
    • Experience with global expansion and multi-region system architecture.
    • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and integration techniques.
    • Past experience with retail, wholesale, e-commerce and warehouse distribution.
    • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications:
    • Project management certification (PMP, Agile) is a plus
