This pivotal position resides with one of our Talent Solutions client where we have established a strong partnership. This role is critical in aligning finance and Accounting operations with scalable system architecture, ensuring accurate and efficient accounting processes, and leading continuous system improvement across the enterprise.The ideal candidate combines deep accounting and financial process knowledge with hands-on NetSuite expertise, strong leadership, and a passion for operational excellence.

Role: Senior Manager, Finance Systems

Location: Los Angeles, California

Key Qualifications/Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead and mentor a team of ERP and business systems analysts supporting Accounting and Finance operations.
  • Own the strategic roadmap for NetSuite ERP and related financial systems, ensuring alignment with company goals and financial reporting requirements.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to drive process optimization, automation, and scalability across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report functions.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Accounting, and Technical teams for all ERP-related projects and initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional prioritization of accounting systems projects, balancing short-term operational needs with long-term platform stability and growth.
Financial Systems Ownership
  • Oversee all accounting-related system configurations, workflows, and integrations (NetSuite ERP, Celigo, 3PL/WMS, POS, Banking, Tax).
  • Manage system upgrades, and integrations with retail and ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, OMS, POS).
  • Ensure accurate data flow across subsidiaries for multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and consolidations.
  • Lead the ERP support function during month-end and year-end close, ensuring system stability and data integrity.
  • Partner with Accounting leadership to align ERP configurations with GAAP compliance, audit readiness, and internal controls.
 Project Delivery & Governance
  • Own the intake, prioritization, and execution of Accounting system enhancements through Agile methodologies.
  • Oversee requirements gathering, functional design, testing (UAT, regression), and change management for all financial systems projects.
  • Ensure all system enhancements and changes follow proper change controlprocedures.
  • Maintain clear documentation of business processes, configurations, and data flows.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
  • Build strong partnerships with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, and IT to ensure cohesive financial systems alignment.
  • Communicate project progress, priorities, and key insights to executive stakeholders.
  • Serve as the escalation point for ERP-related issues and strategic decision-making within the Finance organization.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance Systems, or ERP management.
  • 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite ERP experience (configuration, administration, integrations).
  • Proven experience leading teams (analysts, developers, or system administrators).
  • Deep understanding of accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, revenue recognition, consolidations).
  • Demonstrated success managing ERP projects through full lifecycle — from requirements to go-live.
  • Experience with multi-subsidiary environments, intercompany accounting, and foreign currency consolidation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
 Preferred:
  • CPA or equivalent accounting certification.
  • Experience with Celigo (Integrator.io) or other iPaaS integration tools.
  • Familiarity with retail or ecommerce business models.
  • Experience with Looker, Power BI, or other financial reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting audit and SOX compliance within ERP environments.

Salary range: $175 - $200k
