This pivotal position resides with one of our Talent Solutions client where we have established a strong partnership.The NetSuite Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of NetSuite ERP and the connected cloud business systems that support Company operations. NetSuite is a cloud-based (SaaS) platform; this role focuses on application configuration and business enablement rather than infrastructure, servers, or operating system administration, which are managed by the vendor. Reporting to the Enterprise Applications Manager, this is a hands-on role responsible for keeping NetSuite well-configured, well-governed, and aligned to business needs.
Working under the direction of the Enterprise Applications Manager, the administrator handles user provisioning, configuration changes, saved searches and reports, integration monitoring, and front-line support across Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Retail, Customer Service, and eCommerce. The role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys solving problems in the system, maintaining data quality, and helping users get the most out of the platform.

Job Responsibilities
NetSuite Configuration & Administration
• Perform day-to-day NetSuite administration across active modules (Financials, Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, and related SuiteApps) under the direction of the Enterprise Applications Manager.
• Configure and maintain custom fields, forms, record types, and lists to meet evolving business requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain workflows and automation (SuiteFlow) to streamline business processes and reduce manual effort.
• Build and maintain saved searches, dashboards, and reports that give users and leadership visibility into the business.
• Handle user provisioning and deprovisioning, role and permission assignments, and support periodic access reviews.
• Use sandbox and production accounts to build and validate configuration changes, and follow defined promotion and release processes when moving changes to production.
• Support release management for NetSuite’s scheduled vendor upgrades: review release notes, assess business impact, execute release testing in sandbox, and communicate relevant changes to affected teams.
• Monitor configuration health and escalate scripting errors, governance limits, and data integrity issues as needed.
Integration & Data Management
• Monitor and troubleshoot integrations between NetSuite and connected platforms, including:
◦ Shopify (eCommerce order, item, inventory, and customer sync)
◦ NewStore (POS, retail order, and fulfillment flows)
◦ Korber WMS (warehouse, inventory, and fulfillment)
◦ Avalara (sales tax calculation and reporting)
◦ Narvar (post-purchase tracking and returns)
◦ Banking, payment, and other financial systems
• Identify integration failures, perform initial diagnosis, and escalate or coordinate resolution with the Enterprise Applications Manager, vendors, and integration partners.
• Monitor data flows, error queues, and reconciliation processes to ensure transactions move accurately between systems.
• Help maintain master data quality (items, customers, vendors, pricing, and chart of accounts) and follow established data standards.
• Support data governance and audit/compliance requirements.
Reporting & Analytics
• Build and maintain saved searches, reports, KPIs, and role-based dashboards for operational and executive audiences.
• Partner with Finance and Operations to support reporting for period close, inventory, sales, and margin analysis.
• Ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, and aligned to agreed definitions across business systems.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring or manual reporting.
User Support & Adoption
• Serve as a front-line support contact for NetSuite and related application issues; triage, resolve, or escalate support requests.
• Maintain training materials, job aids, process documentation, and a knowledge base.
• Deliver user training and onboarding for new and existing employees across departments.
• Gather user feedback and help drive continuous improvement in how the business uses the platform.
Additional Responsibilities and Requirements
Business Process & Vendor Support
• Help document current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities with business teams.
• Assist in translating business requirements into system configuration, workflow, or automation solutions.
• Support enhancement and change requests with implementation partners, software vendors, and consultants.
• Maintain documentation of system procedures and standard operating procedures.
Project & Change Management
• Support enterprise application initiatives on the technology roadmap, including requirements gathering, testing, and validation.
• Execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing and assist with deployment and go-live readiness.
• Follow change management discipline: document what was changed, when, and why, and communicate changes to affected teams.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years administering or supporting NetSuite in a production business environment.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite configuration: roles and permissions, custom fields and forms, workflows (SuiteFlow), saved searches, reports, and dashboards.
• Familiarity with core ERP processes, including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, and order management.
• Experience troubleshooting issues and supporting integrations between ERP and surrounding systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
• NetSuite Administrator certification (SuiteFoundation or Administrator).
• Experience in retail, sporting goods, eCommerce, or omnichannel operations.
• Exposure to Shopify, NewStore, Korber (or comparable WMS), Avalara, Narvar, or similar POS/eCommerce/fulfillment technologies.
• Working knowledge of SuiteScript and SuiteFlow, and the ability to read existing scripts.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs or integration platforms (iPaaS/middleware).
• Exposure to data governance, master data management, or reporting/BI tools.
Salary range: $100,000-$130,000k USD
