Job Description
Position Overview: Micas Networks is seeking a results-oriented and experienced Business Development Director to drive and expand networking JDM (Joint Design Manufacturing) opportunities with global cloud hyperscalers. This position is critical in shaping strategic business initiatives, building long-term partnerships, and leading cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in hyperscaler data center infrastructure, extensive networking in the industry, and the ability to manage and align internal resources to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Business Development for Networking JDM: Proactively identify and develop strategic JDM opportunities with hyperscaler customers to drive business growth and expand Micas Networks’ footprint in the cloud networking space. Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
2. Build and Strengthen Strategic Partnerships: Establish and foster strong relationships with key decision-makers at hyperscaler organizations. Act as the face of Micas Networks, effectively communicating the company’s value proposition, technical capabilities, and long-term product direction to secure customer confidence and trust.
3. Track Customer Roadmaps and Identify Collaboration Opportunities: Monitor and analyze customers' networking and data center infrastructure roadmaps to identify areas for collaboration and business growth. Position Micas Networks as a trusted partner in addressing customers’ current and future needs.
4. Align and Optimize Internal Resources for Customer Success: Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate RFQ responses, delivery schedules, and forecast management to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction. Ensure internal alignment to meet project milestones and exceed customer expectations.
5. Drive Long-term Business Growth: Develop and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with hyperscaler customers, focusing on sustainable business growth and innovation. Regularly evaluate market trends and customer feedback to refine strategies and identify new opportunities.
6. Stay Ahead of Industry Trends and Innovations: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in AI/ML, networking, and data center infrastructure technologies. Leverage industry insights to guide internal business strategies and provide thought leadership to customers.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: Minimum of 8 years in business development, strategic partnerships, or technical sales within the hyperscaler, cloud, or data center industries.
2. Industry Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of hyperscaler data center infrastructure, including networking, computing, or storage. Strong understanding of AI/ML trends and their implications for cloud technologies.
3. Strategic Leadership and Execution: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive revenue growth, and deliver successful outcomes in highly competitive markets.
4. Resource Management Skills: Proven ability to coordinate internal resources, including RFQs, delivery timelines, and forecast planning, to meet customer requirements and ensure project success.
5. Relationship Building and Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills to build trust and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Job Description
Position Overview: As a Sr. System Engineer - Board and Systems, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our customers and our R&D team. You will be responsible for understanding the technical needs of potential customers, engaging in detailed discussions with their hardware design engineers, and transferring key insights and requirements to our internal R&D team. A strong background in BMC, I2C, SPI, Power, thermal and signal integrity (SI) design, particularly in the realm of high-performance network switches, is essential for this role.
The successful candidate will have experience working with advanced ASICs such as from Broadcom/Cisco/Marvel. and a solid understanding of integrating these ASICs into high-performance networking products.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary technical contact for potential customers, particularly their hardware design engineers, to understand their requirements and challenges.
Internal Collaboration: Act as the liaison between the customer and our R&D team, ensuring clear communication of customer needs and technical specifications.
Hardware Design Support: Work cross-functionally with Hardware, Software, Power, Mechanical, Thermal, Validation, Signal Integrity, Manufacturing, and external vendors with a focus on BSP for high-performance networking switches.
ASIC Integration: Work closely with our hardware and ASIC teams to ensure smooth integration of ASICs, particularly Broadcom Tomahawk series, into our products.
Product Development: Participate in the design and development process of hardware products, ensuring that customer requirements are met and that designs are optimized for performance.
Technical Guidance: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers on the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in hardware design, with a focus on high-performance network systems.
Strong technical background in BMC, I2C, Power, thermal and signal integrity (SI) design for networking hardware.
Experience working with ASICs
Proven ability to engage in detailed technical discussions with customers and translate those discussions into actionable insights for R&D teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively work across teams.
Good understanding of modern data center networks
Self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in high-performance switch designs (100G/400G/800G).
Knowledge of hardware design lifecycle and product development processes.
Familiarity with power integrity (PI) challenges and thermal management in high-performance systems.

Job Description
Micas is seeking a VP of Marketing to drive our brand’s growth and market presence. The VP of Marketing will lead the company’s marketing strategies, customer engagement, and revenue growth. You will drive branding, PR, event activations, lead generation, website/content/social, and sales/channel enablement. The role requires a well-rounded marketer eager to both set strategy and roll up their sleeves. Success will require data-driven decision making, scrappiness, and intent focus on ROI.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Brand
Define and execute a comprehensive, ROI-driven marketing strategy aligned with company revenue targets and growth objectives.
Own the Micas brand — ensuring positioning, messaging, and visual identity are consistent across all channels and reflective of company goals.
Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics to identify new business opportunities and inform product positioning.
Build and manage a pipeline of marketing-qualified leads that directly supports Sales and BD revenue goals.
Content, Web & Collateral
Partner with Product, R&D, and Sales to develop compelling messaging, sales collateral, and training materials that enable the sales team and channel partners to win.
Oversee the company's web presence, ensuring products and solutions are clearly showcased and optimized for discovery.
Create and curate high-quality content across web, social, and owned media channels.
Events & PR
Plan and execute targeted, high-impact trade show and event activations that maximize brand visibility within budget.
Manage the company's public relations efforts, including press releases and media engagement.
Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
Cultivate strategic relationships with key partners (e.g., Broadcom) to unlock co-marketing opportunities that amplify reach and optimize spend.
Build engagement with director- and C-level contacts at target accounts to generate new pipeline opportunities.
Conduct market training and awareness programs to broaden product adoption across the customer base.
Qualifications
10+ years of product, sales, and/or marketing experience in the data center infrastructure industry, networking hardware experience a plus
Solid understanding of the technologies, product, players, and trends in the AI accelerator ecosystem, AI infrastructure, open networking, and hyperscale data centers
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adept at creating focus, clarity, and impact out of a myriad of sometimes competing opportunities
Ability to work on-site at least four days a week in our company headquarter in San Jose, CA.
