As a WordPress Engineer at Microblink, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our corporate site—an essential driver of inbound lead generation.

Here’s what you’ll do

You will be responsible for ensuring the website is secure, functional, and meets the needs of the organization and visitors. You will help the organization stay up-to-date with the latest best practices, ensuring that the website remains competitive, effective and easy to navigate. 

You'll be successful in this role if you:

  • Strong WordPress core knowledge: safe updates, hooks, filters, actions
  • Custom blocks, page templates with ACF Pro; custom themes and plugins
  • Siteground hosting, deployment, and caching (WP Rocket)
  • REST API integration
  • JavaScript (Vanilla JS, jQuery), Tailwind CSS, SCSS, NPM for asset building
  • Version control with GIT
  • Multilingual sites (WPML)
  • SEO, security best practices, troubleshooting, and cross-browser testing
  • Basic UX/UI principles
  • HubSpot CMS development (custom modules with HUBL) and CLI tools
  • Strong English communication skills, experience in global/distributed teams


Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Take finalized Figma designs/animations to develop into pixel-perfect, responsive, device-agnostic, cross-browser-friendly WordPress pages and HubSpot landing page templates
  • Utilize PHP, MYSQL, HTML, CSS and industry standards to execute the design into a WordPress site
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Marketing, SEO and Design teams to a provide a high quality, well-functioning and great performing site
  • Configure and code the site to make maintenance straight forward
  • Design and implement new features and functionality
  • Establish and guide the website's architecture
  • Ensuring high performance and availability, and managing technical aspects of the CMS
  • Own troubleshooting and documentation related to the Microblink domain
  • Ensure consistent and smooth user experience between microblink.com, demo apps, developer hub and developer documentation
  • Monitor web traffic using Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and flag and troubleshoot issues on an ongoing basis
