Here’s why this role matters to us

Our Data Annotation department is where it all begins at Microblink. The main goal of our Data Annotation department and its teams is to provide the best possible quality and efficiency in the classification and labeling of collected data for neural network training and improvement of Microblink’s products. 

Here’s what you’ll do

  • Manage a team of 10-20 young individuals (both full-time and students) that will continue to grow in the foreseeable future
  • Participate in the creation of action plans following the business needs of the department and drive their implementation
  • Initiate and support team activities to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the department and ultimately, the organization
  • Plan and manage day-to-day activities, schedules, and work tasks and identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinate employees and help create a pleasant work environment that encourages quality of work by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks on an operational level
  • Supervise and support employee productivity and satisfaction through result tracking, efficiency analysis, feedback interviews, and training and development plans
  • Identify and eliminate blockers by prioritizing tasks and effectively allocating available resources
  • Continuously work on employee motivation and satisfaction
  • Mentor and offer guidance to employees with the aim of their further development and training

You'll be successful in this role if you have

  • 3+ years of experience in leading teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • High standards and great attention to detail, ensuring precision and quality in every task
  • Solid time management skills and a proactive approach to handling day-to-day challenges
  • A mindset that adapts well to a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
  • Ability to inspire and motivate employees
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to work primarily from our office, fostering close collaboration, knowledge exchange, and team connection

A plus is if you also have

  • Experience in leading large teams
  • Background in the tech industry
