Physician - Clinical Moderator and Clinical Escalation
Position overview
We’re seeking a subject matter authority in the care of women in midlife to join our rapidly growing telehealth practice to act as a moderator for clinical questions and escalations. Reporting to the Medical Director, this position will be responsible for the continuous improvement in patient care through supporting our clinicians.
This position requires a 30-minute maximum response time during the organization’s working hours of Monday - Friday (and rotating Saturdays) between the hours of 5:00am Pacific Time to 5:00pm Pacific Time.

- Medical weight management
- Cancer survivorship

Responsibilities
Moderate Clinical Slack Channels

- Respond to questions within 30 minutes
- Identify trends and insights to share with appropriate team
EHR Patient Case Support

- Timely review of patient cases, critical lab escalation, and any time sensitive inbox management
- Availability to answer concerns via phone calls to patients and perform time sensitive patient visits as needed
Participation in Doc of the Day
Care Delivery Support

- Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure high-quality patient care via clinical guidelines and protocols
Accountable to Medical Director

- Inform and consult the Medical Director of clinical concerns, educational opportunities and safety events
Patient Advocacy
-
- Includes ensuring the team has the necessary support to deliver optimal patient care
Maintain currency of knowledge

- Includes expertise in all Midi/IWC clinical protocols, formulary, clinical operations
Quality & Safety
-
- Identify any themes related to quality and safety improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Board Certified MD or DO
- Women’s Health Specialty or at least 5 years perimenopause/menopause experience
- Active and unrestricted license in multiple states with ability to obtain licenses in all 50 states
- At least two (2) years of telehealth experience
- At least five (5) years of direct patient care in the last five years
- Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity and compassion
- Highly proficient and efficient with technology
- Proven talent for achieving consistency across clinical team
