About the Role: 🔍💻

As a Technical Recruiter at Midi, you will be the engine behind our ability to hire exceptional engineering and technology talent. You’ll partner closely with our CTO, product leaders, and hiring managers across Engineering, Data, Product, and Infrastructure to build high-caliber teams that support our rapid growth.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment and is energized by identifying, closing, and advocating for top technical talent.

What You’ll Do:

  • Source, engage, and assess top technical talent using creative, proactive, and data-driven strategies.
  • Build deep expertise in our tech stack, product vision, and engineering org to effectively pitch the opportunity and identify strong fits.
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering & technical hiring
  • Develop and maintain strong talent pipelines using advanced sourcing tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, Github, Reddit, technical communities, and outbound campaigns.
  • Partner with hiring managers on scoping of roles, calibration, interview planning, and debriefs to ensure tight alignment and an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Track and analyze recruiting funnel metrics to guide decisions, optimize conversion rates, and forecast hiring needs.
  • Operate with speed, precision, and thoughtful process managing multiple concurrent searches with clarity and organization.
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and equitable hiring practices across all technical hiring efforts.
  • Negotiate offers that align with both candidate motivations and organizational goals.
  • Deliver a “Midi-fied” candidate experience that is warm, transparent, and unforgettable.

What You Will Bring 🌱

  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience (startup or high-growth environment strongly preferred).
  • A proven track record recruiting software engineers and other technical hires- MUST have experience hiring in the bay area.
  • Strong sourcing capabilities — Boolean mastery, technical sourcing platforms, creative outbound channels.
  • Ability to partner deeply with technical leaders and speak credibly about engineering roles, tech stacks, and product needs.
  • A highly organized, execution-focused approach — you move quickly, communicate clearly, and manage competing priorities with ease.
  • An analytical mindset; you use data to identify bottlenecks, measure success, and inform strategy.
  • A continuous learner who stays current on trends in technical recruiting, compensation, and talent markets. Someone who is leveraging AI to  make them more productive in their day-to-day
  • A high-warmth, high-trust communication style that creates exceptional candidate & hiring manager experiences.

The Salary range for this role will depend on experience.Midi pays  a competitive base salary, plus equity and benefits.
