Senior Editor, Content @ Midi Health

📍Remote

 Reports to: Director, Content

Hi 👋 I’m Jihan, Director of Content at Midi.

We’re building the most trusted, evidence-based education platform in women’s midlife health—and doing it at startup speed.

That means publishing high-quality, clinically sound, deeply empathetic content at real scale, and turning it into one of the biggest patient acquisition and trust engines in the business. To do that, we need a world-class Senior Editor who can run a high-velocity editorial operation without letting quality slip.

This role is the operational and quality backbone of our content program: part managing editor, part master editor, part workflow architect. If you love building systems, elevating writers, obsessing over clarity and accuracy, and shipping great work on deadline, you’ll thrive here.

About Midi Health:

Midi Health is the fastest-growing virtual clinic focused exclusively on women’s midlife health. We deliver insurance-covered care for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and other hormone-related health challenges. Our care model combines clinical expertise with technology to improve access, outcomes, and quality of life for millions of women.

We’ve raised backing from top-tier investors and are scaling rapidly, now caring for hundreds of thousands of patients across the U.S. If you’re energized by building in a fast-growth, mission-driven environment, we’d love to meet you!

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Senior Editor who will serve as both our managing editor (overseeing a team of freelance writers, editors, copyeditors, and medical reviewers), and hands-on editor, serving as the final reviewer before content goes live.

You'll own our editorial workflow from assignment through publication, ensuring we maintain best-in-class standards while consistently hitting our monthly publishing targets. This role requires someone who thrives on managing multiple moving parts, can balance strategic thinking with meticulous execution, and knows how to keep a complex content operation running smoothly.

What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with our Content Director and SEO analyst to align on our editorial calendar and overarching content strategy.
  • Own the editorial calendar and content production schedule and workflow; manage multiple concurrent projects from assignment through publication, ensuring we consistently hit monthly publishing targets.
  • Serve as the final editorial authority on all content before publication; ensure every piece meets brand standards for quality, accuracy, tone, voice, and style while maintaining consistency across all content touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brief and develop design assets including hero images, graphics, charts, and infographics; review all visual elements for accuracy, brand alignment, and editorial integrity before publication.
  • Manage, and mentor a network of freelance writers, editors, and copyeditors; assign projects, provide clear feedback, ensure timely delivery, and maintain strong working relationships that support quality output.
  • Manage day-to-day publishing operations in our CMS (Prismic)
  • Contribute editorial insights to content planning; identify opportunities to improve content quality and performance; stay current on industry trends and best practices in digital content and editorial operations.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 5-7 years of editorial experience in SEO, content marketing, or publishing, preferably in the health and wellness space, with proven success managing editorial teams, production workflows, and content calendars at scale
  • Strong editorial judgment and writing skills with exceptional eye for detail with ability to edit for clarity, accuracy, tone, and brand voice; an excellent writer and editor who can provide constructive feedback and elevate the work of others
  • Experience building and managing networks of freelance contributors; skilled at scoping projects, setting clear expectations, providing actionable feedback, and maintaining productive long-term relationships
  • Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple priorities, manage competing deadlines, and keep complex production schedules on track; proven track record of consistently hitting publishing targets
  • Hands-on experience with content management systems and publishing platforms; comfortable with the technical aspects of content publishing including formatting, tagging, SEO basics, and troubleshooting
  • Proactive mindset with ability to identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement systems that improve efficiency without sacrificing quality
  • Clear communicator who can work effectively across teams; ability to manage up and across while advocating for editorial standards and maintaining positive working relationships in a fast-paced environment

Bonus points:

  • Experience working with medical or expert review workflows
  • Startup or high-growth environment

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
