Senior Product Manager, Commerce: šŸ“ŠšŸ›’

Midi is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of our commerce infrastructure and operational systems. Customer health and prescription services are central to our mission and represent a primary revenue driver with significant untapped potential. As we prepare to expand our product offerings and unify the patient experience across varied categories, this role will be the critical link between our physical operations and our digital platform.

This job is ā€œHOTā€: šŸ”„

You will not just be managing a storefront; you will be building the systems that allow our operations team to scale seamlessly while creating a high-value, lifetime experience for our patients. You will be the primary product lead for the "Store Product" vertical, focusing on the functionality, technical integrations, and internal tools that power Midi’s commerce engine.

Business impact: šŸ“ˆ

  • Scale Operational Infrastructure & Patient Experience: Design and build the internal systems and automation that enable our operations and clinical teams to manage growing volumes, while simultaneously owning the end-to-end checkout and post-purchase flows that drive long-term patient value.
  • Drive Technical Integrations: Lead deep technical integrations with key pharmacy and fulfillment partners to ensure real-time data accuracy and a frictionless delivery experience.
  • Expand Commerce Capabilities: Manage the rollout of new commerce functionality, including advanced payment systems and sophisticated recurring order management, to support a rapidly diversifying product portfolio.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner as the primary product lead for Engineering, while working closely with Operations, Clinical, and Marketing to ensure our technical roadmap supports both business growth and clinical excellence.

What you will need to succeed: 🌱

Required

  • E-commerce Expertise (Product or Ops): 5+ years of professional experience in E-commerce, specifically within a Product Management and/or a deeply technical Operational role (e.g., Product Ops, E-com Ops). You must have a proven track record of managing the "pipes" of a digital store—including payments, SKU management, and fulfillment logistics.
  • Operational Scale & Internal Tooling: Demonstrated experience building, implementing, or optimizing internal tools and systems (such as Zendesk or custom internal dashboards) that allow teams to scale efficiently.
  • Technical Systems Fluency: Significant experience managing complex API integrations and working closely with engineering teams on system architecture. You are comfortable diving into technical documentation and translating operational bottlenecks into clear technical requirements.
  • Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience or deep familiarity with Shopify (or similar e-commerce platforms) to manage customer support workflows and order fulfillment.
  • Focus on Patient LTV: A strong understanding of how commerce UI/UX (cart, checkout, and post-purchase communication) directly impacts customer retention and lifetime value.
  • High-Agency Problem Solver: A "get it done" mindset with the ability to navigate complex logistical challenges and turn them into streamlined digital solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities from Marketing and Operations while keeping the Engineering team focused on high-leverage work.

Preferred

  • Healthcare & Healthtech Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare environment with a solid understanding of how to balance operational speed with patient privacy (HIPAA) and clinical compliance.
  • Platform Familiarity: Exposure to Athena or comparable Electronic Health Record (EHR) / healthcare-specific platforms.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
