Senior Product Manager, Patient Experience

San Francisco Bay Area (Hybrid)

📍 Hybrid Preferred, Palo Alto or San Francisco (2 days/week in office)
Reports to: VP Product, Patient Experience
Job Type: Full-time W2

The Role

Midi is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Patient Experience to own the digital experience that helps women build a long-term relationship with Midi. Our goal is to be a patient’s healthcare home, supporting more of her care needs both in and outside of telehealth visits. This role will shape the journey from the first visit and onward: how patients stay engaged, return for follow-up care, and discover the other ways Midi can support them. You will set the roadmap and work with Clinical Operations, Lifecycle Marketing, Data, Engineering, Design, and more to ship experiences that are trusted, empathetic, and measurably improve patient engagement and retention.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Patient Experience Roadmap: Define the vision and roadmap for the web experience patients use across their care journey, from onboarding and visit preparation through follow-up care and long-term support. Set clear targets for engagement and retention, and prioritize the bets most likely to reach them.
  • Extend Care Beyond the Visit: Identify and build the touchpoints that help patients get more of their care needs met with Midi, in and outside of telehealth visits, such as follow-up care, ongoing treatment support, and access to additional services.
  • Understand & Improve the Patient Journey: Combine patient research, feedback, and funnel and cohort analysis to find where patients disengage or run into friction, then run experiments and ship improvements that build trust and keep patients coming back.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the product lead for patient experience, partnering closely with Clinical Operations, Lifecycle Marketing, Data, Engineering, and Design, and with other teams across Midi as needed. You will lead through influence, building shared goals and making tradeoffs clear across your cross-functional team.

Requirements

  • Consumer Product Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years building consumer-facing digital products and owning engagement or retention metric targets. You have a track record of delivering measurable outcomes in complex business areas.
  • Experimentation & Data Fluency: Skilled in hypothesis-driven development, A/B testing, and funnel and cohort analysis. You work closely with data partners, are comfortable digging into the numbers yourself, and use results to guide product strategy.
  • Patient-Centered Design Sense: A strong grasp of UX best practices and of how clarity, empathy, and ease of use shape trust and engagement in a healthcare experience. You can turn friction in a patient flow into a clear hypothesis and a testable solution.
  • Focus on Patient LTV: A strong understanding of how onboarding, ongoing engagement, and lifecycle communication shape retention, repeat usage, and lifetime value. You are motivated by helping patients build a lasting relationship with Midi.
  • High-Agency Problem Solver: An action-oriented, ownership mindset with the ability to break complex challenges into simple, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration & Influence: A strong track record of leading cross-functional teams without direct authority across Clinical Operations, Lifecycle Marketing, Data, Engineering, and Design. You build alignment, balance competing priorities, and present clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare or Healthtech Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare or digital health environment with an understanding of how to balance patient engagement with privacy (HIPAA) and clinical compliance.

This is a full-time W2 position. The base salary range is 160K-200K and will depend on experience. Midi pays a competitive base salary, plus equity and benefits.
