Role Overview

As the Vice President, FP&A & Strategy, you will serve as the strategic finance leader driving the company’s next phase of growth. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will own all aspects of FP&A and strategic finance, partnering closely with operations, M&A, and the executive team to deliver data-driven insights, strengthen financial decision-making, and support transformational initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead FP&A: Build and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning across the company.
  • Strategic Finance & M&A: Own financial modeling, underwriting, and ROI analysis for acquisitions, new site development, and strategic initiatives.
  • Executive Partnership: Partner with the CEO, COO, and senior leadership to evaluate growth opportunities, cost optimization, and capital allocation strategies.
  • Performance Insights: Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and operational/financial performance reports for leadership visibility.
  • Capital Events & Readiness: Support investor relations, board materials, and strategic readiness for potential capital events or partnerships.
  • Post-Acquisition Integration: Lead financial analysis and performance tracking for newly acquired or developed schools and business lines.
  • Process & Systems Modernization: Evaluate and implement financial tools and BI platforms to improve reporting and forecasting capabilities.
  • Leadership & Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A and analytics team while fostering financial acumen across the organization.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred but not required.
  • Experience: 5+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, M&A modeling/underwriting, or investment banking/private equity.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced financial modeling; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or SQL strongly preferred.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to partner with executives, influence cross-functional leaders, and build high-performing finance teams.
  • Strategic Mindset: Track record of supporting growth-oriented or PE-backed companies through strategic and financial planning cycles.
