Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated interns to join our world-class team for the summer of 2024 and help create the future of affordable, high-reliability space systems. We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated practical problem-solving experience in their hobbies, academic projects, and/or previous internships.
The Mission Assurance intern will evaluate technical issues for our programs and coordinate efforts to solve them within the risk tolerances of the programs. This year's Mission Assurance intern will have a more dedicated focus on issues related to Parts, Materials, and Processes.

Responsibilities
- Evaluating risk associated with technical problems encountered in the course of a real program's progression
- Make use of expertise in materials science and understanding of the space environment to provide guidance to programs in solving technical issues and making sound engineering judgements
- Write and present technical reports on the work done and recommendations given
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing an engineering degree, ideally related to materials science in metallurgy, polymers, or electronic components
- Has background in working in a laboratory environment and conducting material tests
- Demonstrates exceptional understanding of the problem solving process and its implementation in driving to real world solutions
- Is able to find and synthesize information from different sources to support engineering decisions and evaluating risks
- $20.67/hr - $48.08/hr
