Residential Therapist (Juvenile) - LCSW

MindCare Solutions, is a leader in comprehensive mental health solutions in various settings: clinician owned and operated. We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that is looking for a partnership in a growing organization with a strong team-mentality working in a juvenile residential setting. 

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (flexible schedule)

Compensation: up to $93,600 (based on experience)

Sign-On / Start Bonus: $5,000

Position Summary:

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides for the care and management of the mental health needs of the inmate/patient population of a juvenile residential facilities. 

Travel required between facilities (Southern NJ area) area with travel reimbursement provided. 

  • The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides mental health services such as intake, crisis intervention, individual counseling and group counseling
  • Acts as a member of the treatment team to determine, coordinate and implement appropriate inmate/patient care
  • The Licensed Clinical Social Worker prepares and regularly maintains progress notes and discharge summaries on patients
  • Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the inmates/patient's treatment plan
  • The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context
  • Refers inmate/patient for outside services once released
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling
  • Must possess a current and unrestricted LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in the state of New Jersey (NJ)
  • Adolescent residential/group home experience preferred
  • An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Applicants must successfully pass the required criminal background check
