
VP/SVP, Marketing
Mineralys Therapeutics is a publicly traded, clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing medicines to target diseases driven by abnormally elevated aldosterone. Our initial product candidate, lorundrostat, is a proprietary, orally administered, highly selective aldosterone synthase inhibitor that we are developing for cardiorenal conditions affected by abnormally elevated aldosterone, including hypertension and chronic kidney disease.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the VP/SVP Marketing will be responsible for all aspects of defining marketing strategy and ensuring the strategy is translated into innovative tactics that drive rapid brand uptake. The position will be filled at either a Vice President or Senior Vice President level based upon the relevant work experience and skill set of the candidate selected.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversees all aspects of Marketing and Brand leadership
- Develop and execute innovative HCP and consumer marketing strategies that rapidly drive awareness, and RX adoption
- Work with the ad agency, PR, advocacy and other partners to develop strategies and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of marketing plans and influence multi-functional marketing partners.
- Execute strategy and tactical plan by orchestrating partnerships and activities across Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Insights & Analytics, Market Access, and a nationwide Sales team.
- In partnership with Ops and Finance, defines product volume and financial forecasts and is responsible for achieving forecast goals.
- Drives innovative multi-channel marketing leveraging advanced analytics to inform strategic decision making and enhanced execution
- Ensures that brand and portfolio annual strategic and operational plans are insight driven and enable competitive differentiation and exceptional customer experience
- Develop highly competitive and motivating creative campaigns and promotional materials by fully leveraging the creative capabilities of external agencies and effectively partnering with Copy Approval boards. This includes the full range of marketing mix (traditional, digital) and customers (consumers, retailers, HCPs, payers)
- Defines annual marketing budget as well as long range operating plans and monitors effectively throughout the year to maximize return.
- Actively contributes to key strategic decisions on market access and pricing strategies in complex US payer environment as part of the Governance board.
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree plus 15+ years of experience executing marketing strategies with at least 10 years in life sciences/pharmaceuticals.
- Experience launching products with a startup biotech/ pharmaceutical company is highly preferred.
- Proven success in leading and executing omnichannel campaigns targeting both patients and HCPs.
- Proven success in leading and executing Health Care Provider (HCP) marketing strategies
Knowledge & Skills:
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong strategic and critical thinking skills and the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing omni-channel marketing campaigns.
- Must be able to travel as needed for the role, up to 20% per month. Valid US driver’s license required, ability to travel without restrictions.
Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This position is eligible for standard Company benefits including medical, dental, vision, time off and 401K, as well as participating in Mineralys incentive plans are contingent on achievement of personal and company performance.
Estimate of the US Salary Range: $244,000 - $335,000
