Mineralys Therapeutics is a publicly traded, clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing medicines to target diseases driven by abnormally elevated aldosterone. Our initial product candidate, lorundrostat, is a proprietary, orally administered, highly selective aldosterone synthase inhibitor that we are developing for cardiorenal conditions affected by abnormally elevated aldosterone, including hypertension and chronic kidney disease.

The Senior Manager - Market Research Analytics, Competitive Intelligence will support commercial corporate strategy and goals for the successful commercial launch of Lorundrostat. Reporting to the Executive Director of Business Analytics and CI, this role will work in close collaboration with Commercial and internal stakeholders to achieve functional and corporate Commercial goals.  The successful candidate will have established experience in market research, data analytics, business intelligence, competitive intelligence or marketing within a commercial pharma/biotech in the US. The US East Coast is the preferred location for this role.

Principal Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for primary & secondary market research/analytics & competitive intelligence to support the development & launch of lorundrostat. 

  • Create strategic frameworks to help Mineralys organize & prioritize key business questions around commercial planning, lifecycle management,
  • Proactively manage multiple third-party vendors, data providers & consultants to generate insights & data to support key business decisions for the organization including commercial as well as various cross functional partners.
  • Work with marketing & market access to develop strategic commercial plan for the launch of lorundrostat in uncontrolled / resistant hypertension.
  • Answer or provide commercial perspective on ad hoc literature review / epidemiology / commercial opportunity related questions to support BD, senior leadership questions, external presentations (for investors, earnings, etc.), BoD presentations, Leadership Team presentations
  • Monitor and disseminate competitive activity in TAs of interest to broader organization
  • Provide input on revenue forecast updates/development
  • Evaluate & plan for future launch capabilities including data analytics providers, market research agencies, AI tools, reporting tools, etc.
  • Efficiently manage business insights budget planning & spend

Skills and Attributes

  • PowerPoint, Excel, presentation skills (Expertise in creating clear & attractive presentations & frameworks is required & critical for this role) 
  • Strong knowledge of US pharmaceutical market (preferably in general medicine, cardiovascular, metabolic, renal, or other larger prevalence TA’s)
  • Some knowledge/experience with US payer/market access environment and data sources is preferred.
  • Some knowledge/experience of major ex-US pharmaceutical markets is preferred but not required.
  • Working experience with US data sources for market data (claims/EHR/Rx/audits/Payer Coverage/CI DBs) is required.
  • Working knowledge of drug development process and ability to evaluate competitive clinical trial design is required

Travel

This position requires up to 10 % travel. Frequently travel is outside the local area and overnight. Some of the travel may be international.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in market research, data analytics, business intelligence, competitive intelligence, marketing or other related discipline within commercial pharma/biotech located in the US
  • 2+ years of experience in working management/strategy consulting working with pharma/biotech clients is preferred.

Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

US Salary Range: $112,000 - $128,000
