Mineralys Therapeutics is a publicly traded, clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing medicines to target diseases driven by abnormally elevated aldosterone. Our initial product candidate, lorundrostat, is a proprietary, orally administered, highly selective aldosterone synthase inhibitor that we are developing for cardiorenal conditions affected by abnormally elevated aldosterone, including hypertension and chronic kidney disease.

We are seeking a highly strategic and analytical Director of Market Access to lead the development of the value proposition, evidence generation, pricing, and contracting strategy for the launch of a novel cardiovascular therapy. This is a role focused on shaping payer strategy and cross-functional alignment to ensure optimal access and reimbursement readiness at launch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Value Proposition Development
    • Lead the creation of a compelling, data-driven value proposition tailored to payer and policy stakeholder needs
    • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Clinical teams to align messaging with product profile and unmet need
    • Develop payer-facing materials including AMCP dossiers, PIE and value decks
  • Evidence Generation Strategy
    • Identify any evidence gaps and prioritize evidence needs to support access and reimbursement goals
    • Partner with HEOR and RWE teams to guide development of economic models, burden-of-illness studies, and comparative effectiveness research
  • Pricing & Contracting Strategy
    • Develop pricing scenarios and recommendations based on market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and value frameworks
    • Design innovative contracting approaches (e.g., value-based agreements, outcomes-based models) in collaboration with internal stakeholders
    • Ensure alignment with legal, regulatory, and compliance teams on contract structures and risk mitigation
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Serve as the internal market access lead for the cardiovascular launch team
    • Provide strategic input to Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, and Finance teams to ensure access readiness
  • Policy & Landscape Monitoring
    • Stay abreast of evolving reimbursement policies, HTA trends, and payer expectations in cardiovascular care
    • Translate external insights into actionable internal strategies

Qualifications 

  • 10+ years of experience in market access, pricing, HEOR, or strategy roles within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated success in developing access strategies for specialty or cardiovascular products
  • Strong understanding of U.S. payer systems, reimbursement pathways, and value demonstration frameworks
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MPH, PharmD, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset

These positions are eligible for standard Company benefits including medical, dental, vision, time off and 401K, as well as participating in Mineralys incentive plans are contingent on achievement of personal and company performance. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

US Salary Range:  $210,000 - $240,000
