
Director/Sr. Director, Commercial Trade and Distribution
Mineralys Therapeutics is a publicly traded, clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing medicines to target diseases driven by abnormally elevated aldosterone. Our initial product candidate, lorundrostat, is a proprietary, orally administered, highly selective aldosterone synthase inhibitor that we are developing for cardiorenal conditions affected by abnormally elevated aldosterone, including hypertension and chronic kidney disease.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President Market Access, the Director/Sr. Director of Trade and Distribution will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for trade, distribution, and channel access.
Responsibilities
Trade Strategy Development
- Design and execute the trade and distribution strategy for the cardiovascular antihypertensive product across retail, specialty, and institutional channels.
- Develop pricing, contracting, and channel access strategies in alignment with brand goals and market dynamics.
Channel Strategy
- Own end-to-end U.S. trade and distribution launch execution for the asset.
- Establish and manage relationships with 3PL, wholesalers, distributors and GPOs
- Negotiate and manage contracts with channel partners
- Oversee implementation and performance of channel partners, ensuring service level agreements and KPIs are met
- Ensure seamless cross-functional alignment with Brand, Market Access, Supply Chain, Patient Support Services (PSS), and Medical Affairs for launch delivery.
Launch Execution
- Lead cross-functional launch readiness activities related to trade and distribution
- Ensure product availability across all channels at launch and beyond, minimizing supply disruptions.
Performance Monitoring
- Track and analyze channel performance, inventory levels, and product movement.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor trade effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Market Access, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to align distribution strategy with broader business objectives.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert on trade and distribution.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to all federal and state regulations including DSCSA, PDMA, and other relevant laws.
- Implement robust controls to mitigate diversion, counterfeiting, and other supply chain risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree in business, health sciences, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience, with at least 5 years in trade, distribution, or channel strategy
- Proven track record in leading trade launch readiness and channel execution across both specialty and traditional product categories.
- Strong background in contract negotiation, vendor management, and cross-functional leadership
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills to achieve objectives
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities
- Proficiency in interpreting and leveraging trade data and performance metrics
- Efficient independent worker with ability to focus and drive for results
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple tasks
- Willingness to travel ~30% to meet with trade partners, vendors, attend internal meetings, and represent the company at relevant conventions and events
These positions are eligible for standard Company benefits including medical, dental, vision, time off and 401K, as well as participating in Mineralys incentive plans are contingent on achievement of personal and company performance. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
US Salary Range: $210,000 - $260,000
