Global VP Enterprise Sales

MinIO is looking for a Global VP Enterprise Sales.
As the Global VP of Enterprise Sales, you will be a key member of the sales team, responsible for building and leading the enterprise sales organization, developing scalable processes, and driving revenue growth. You will own the sales strategy, including customer acquisition, revenue forecasting, and team development for this global organization. This is an opportunity to shape the trajectory of a high-potential startup and make a significant impact on the business.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Craft and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and market penetration.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team, including sales managers, account executives, and sales engineers.
- Revenue Growth: Own the revenue targets, drive predictable sales growth, and deliver against ambitious sales quotas.
- Customer Focus: Identify and pursue strategic enterprise and mid-market opportunities, fostering long-term customer relationships and satisfaction.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive integrated go-to-market strategies and ensure alignment across functions.
- Sales Operations: Implement and optimize sales processes, tools (e.g., CRM), and methodologies to enhance pipeline management and forecasting accuracy.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic alliances and channel partnerships to expand market reach and revenue.
- Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and inform product development.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the object storage market, cloud infrastructure, and data management ecosystems.
- Track Record: Proven success driving revenue growth in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment, ideally leading a company from early-stage to scale.
- Leadership: Strong ability to recruit, develop, and inspire a world-class sales team.
- Strategic Mindset: Data-driven decision-maker with a strategic, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
