Director of FP&A

We’re seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Director of FP&A to lead our financial planning and analysis function and oversee our business intelligence analyst team. This leader will drive forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes while also elevating our analytics capabilities to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders across the company. You’ll be a key partner to the executive team, helping to translate financial and operational data into strategic guidance and resource allocation decisions. The ideal candidate brings a strong FP&A foundation, a sharp analytical mindset, and experience managing a centralized analytics team.
What You Will Do:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead the annual budgeting, long-range planning, and monthly forecasting processes across the company.
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting packages and variance analyses to executive leadership and board.
- Partner cross-functionally with GTM, Product, and Operations teams to develop models and KPIs that guide investment and growth.
- Own company-wide headcount planning and opex forecasting.
- Build scenario models to support strategic decisions such as pricing changes, cost structure shifts, or new market entry.
Business Intelligence (Analytics Leadership)
- Manage a team of BI analysts responsible for delivering dashboards, self-serve analytics, and ad hoc insights to the business.
- Prioritize analytics projects that align with company goals and unlock operational efficiency and growth opportunities.
- Ensure consistency and governance in metric definitions, reporting standards, and data sources across departments.
- Partner with data engineering and systems teams to ensure data infrastructure supports high-quality analysis.
Your Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategy, or analytics roles, preferably in high-growth SaaS or tech environments.
- 3+ years managing teams across FP&A or BI functions.
- Deep experience building and scaling financial models and presenting to executive and board-level stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, CAC, LTV, gross margin, retention, sales efficiency).
- Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive Insights) and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Omni, or similar).
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to see the big picture and zoom in on the data when needed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
- Experience leading finance and analytics in a fast-scaling organization.
- Prior exposure to data architecture, dbt, or ELT tools is a plus.
- MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred.

MinIO determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
