Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist

As a Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist at Minitab, you will serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, ensuring a positive and seamless experience. You will play a key role in supporting all stages of recruitment, from pipeline generation to pre-boarding, while managing the full recruitment life cycle for designated roles in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Pipeline Generation & Outbound Recruiting (20%)

  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Develop and send tailored outreach messages that align with the job and region-specific recruitment strategies.
  • Achieve a target of sending a minimum of 200 InMails annually, with 10% of hires sourced through LinkedIn prospecting.

Pre-boarding, Interview Scheduling & Offer Management (30%)

  • Organize all stages of the interview process, including scheduling on-site and remote interviews, managing debriefs, and coordinating travel arrangements and reimbursements.
  • Draft and send offer letters while tracking candidates’ progress from offer acceptance to start.
  • Manage the onboarding process, ensuring all tasks are completed and new hires have a smooth transition into the company.
  • Lead additional pre-boarding tasks, such as background and right-to-work checks.

Requisition Ownership (10%)

  • Create and manage job requisitions for the region in Greenhouse, including scorecards and competency assignments.
  • Keep requisition status up-to-date and maintain reporting metrics.

Candidate Pre-Screening & Communication Management (30%)

  • Screen candidates for alignment with job requirements and competencies based on manager input.
  • Schedule and conduct video interviews using Greenhouse’s scheduling tool, using both behavioral and traditional interview techniques.
  • Provide feedback to the hiring manager on candidate strengths, weaknesses, and interview summaries.
  • Ensure positive candidate experiences by providing clear and timely communication regarding hiring decisions.
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with candidates throughout the process.

Greenhouse Pipeline Management (10%)

  • Manage inbound candidates and guide them through the stages of the pipeline in Greenhouse, ensuring real-time updates and seamless tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in talent acquisition and sourcing.
  • A university degree in a business-related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in interview scheduling is required.
  • Ability to travel to the office monthly or quarterly if working remotely.
  • Strong proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension).
