DevOps Engineer

Minitab is seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to play a critical role in developing and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for innovation in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll be instrumental in driving the technology that supports our mission of empowering businesses worldwide to make better, data-driven decisions.


Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Deployment

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using industry-standard tools. 

  • Maintain and support environments critical to product development, ensuring they are stable, scalable, and aligned with continuous integration and delivery practices.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation to manage urgent infrastructure issues and ensure high system reliability.

Change Management & Support

  • Manage and execute change requests related to settings, permissions, and components across various systems and environments.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues with minimal disruption to service.

  • Document procedures for handling support requests and issue resolutions.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Communicate status updates clearly and effectively within the team and across departments.

  • Participate in code reviews, providing and integrating constructive feedback.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of team commitments.

Continuous Learning & Innovation

  • Stay up to date with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in the DevOps field.

  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve infrastructure and deployment processes.

  • Apply new learnings to enhance scalability, security, and efficiency across systems.

The role would ultimately be hybrid eligible
- Be in our State College, PA office for the first 6 months and
- Be in the on-call rotation by themselves (we pair them up on-call until they are comfortable)
After you would met the eligibility requirements you can request a max of 2 days hybrid
