Manufacturing Sales Executive
About the Role
Minitab is looking for a driven, high-energy Manufacturing Sales Executive to accelerate new business growth across the Chinese market. This is a true hunter role, focused exclusively on winning new logos within the mid-market segment, particularly across the manufacturing industry.
Based in Hong Kong, you’ll work with a high degree of autonomy, owning your territory end-to-end — from prospecting and discovery through to close. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on opening doors, building pipelines from scratch, and closing complex, consultative sales in a competitive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing

Own and execute a new business sales strategy for the mid-market segment across the Chinese market

Identify, qualify, and close net-new customer opportunities

Proactively prospect and engage senior stakeholders within manufacturing organisations, understanding their business challenges and positioning Minitab as a strategic solution

Lead the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution positioning, product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing

Build and manage a strong pipeline of new logo opportunities, maintaining accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene

Work closely with internal pre-sales, marketing, and services teams in a virtual team-selling environment

Gather and share competitive and market intelligence to continuously sharpen positioning within the territory

Represent Minitab at customer meetings, industry events, and partner engagements across the region
What We’re Looking For

Proven hunter mentality — proactive, self-starting, and motivated by winning new business

Strong experience selling B2B software or technology solutions into the manufacturing industry

Ability to work independently, manage your own territory, and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable with frequent travel (up to 60%) across the region

Confident engaging with executive, technical, and business stakeholders

Consultative selling approach with strong negotiation and closing skills
Language Requirements

Fluent Mandarin (native or business-native level)

Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience & Background
-
3+ years of successful B2B sales experience, ideally in technology, analytics, or enterprise software.

Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets (100%+ of quota)

Experience managing mid-market accounts and closing deals.

Exposure to business intelligence, analytics, or statistical software is a plus
