As the Head of Healthcare for our ads business, reporting to the SVP Strategic Partnerships, you’ll be driving advertising revenue growth with Healthcare and Pharma marketers by ensuring the full MiQ offering is tailored to meet the unique challenges of media clients in the healthcare industry. You will partner with the national ad sales org to meet with and cultivate relationships with key client and ad agency stakeholders in the healthcare vertical, as well as lead full healthcare go-to-market efforts.  This includes guiding partnerships and product to develop unique programmatic solutions tailored to this vertical, establishing category specific marketing requirements, and taking a lead role in thought leadership and events. In this role you will integrate advertising sales, business development, product, and marketing practices, in order to:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive advertising growth and profitability within the healthcare vertical, aligning with the overall objectives of the company.
  • Build and nurture strong media relationships with healthcare clients, understanding their business goals, challenges, and unique advertising needs.
  • Partner with national sales or serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, collaborating closely with clients to develop customized advertising solutions that drive measurable results.
  • Identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and competitive threats within the healthcare sector, and formulate advertising strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Stay expertly versed in healthcare compliance and privacy, working with MiQ legal to ensure best in class practices, collateral, and education are available to teams and clients.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop new programmatic advertising products, services, and solutions tailored to the needs of healthcare clients.
  • Nurture relationships with data, measurement, tech and supply partners with unique strength in healthcare in order to develop custom, and first-to-market product offerings for brands.
  • Leverage insights from data analytics, market research, and industry knowledge to continuously improve and innovate our healthcare offerings.
  • Be a lead voice at industry advertisingconferences, write thought leadership, help shape marketing activations in the healthcare vertical.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of healthcare advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement to ensure maximum ROI for clients.
  • Leverage go-to-market teams to promote, position and train internal commercial teams on MiQs healthcare offering and the unique needs of vertical marketers.
  • Stay updated on Healthcare advertising industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and potential threats.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  •   Proven track record of at least 10 years in sales, biz dev, or strategic partnership development and management within the media, advertising, and Ad Tech industries.
  • Strong network and existing relationships with key players in the Ad Tech ecosystem on both the buy and sell side.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare advertising industry landscape, including regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and consumer behavior trends.
  • Experience across DTC
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
  • Strong collaborative nature and ability to work across the gray with multiple business partners
  • Highly self-aware, analytical, and committed to continuous self-development.
  • Advanced understanding of programmatic and a strong sense of the Ad Tech industry at-large
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Pay Transparency 

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, NY, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $150,000-$200,000. This range may vary for positions outside of New York as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
