What you’ll do

You will be joining our fantastic Western Canada team, which is split across Vancouver and Calgary. As one of two Sales Directors, you will be tasked with developing and executing sales strategies, overseeing the sales process, and building strong relationships with key clients. This is a great opportunity to be part of a close knit team and take responsibility for:
- Navigating the Western Canada regional agency landscape at Holding Group & Independent level, as well as advertisers directly
- Become a trusted partner to key regional stakeholders and lead MiQ’s relationships with key contacts, alongside our VP Client Partnerships
- Build a successful meeting rhythm with client & agency stakeholders to identify areas of partnership and growth for MiQ
- Work closely with MiQ local teams to keep up to date on strategic opportunities, share best practice, and help to drive incremental local revenue growth via regular one-to-one communication and proactive involvement in our commercial community
- Scope out longer-term partnership opportunities with agencies, creating sustainable commercial partnerships for our business.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years of working in Programmatic sales (digital sales will be considered)
- Well established senior-level agency connections across key regional agencies
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders to drive change
- Deep knowledge of agency dynamics and ways of working
- Expert comprehension of the programmatic ecosystem
- Consultative approach to building relationships, critical thinking and problem solving
- Commercial mindset and acumen; a hunger to win
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Well organised in managing time and workload to meet business priorities

Pay Transparency
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in British Columbia, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to British Columbia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base compensation range for this position is $100,000- $120,000. This range may vary for positions outside of British Columbia as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
