The Opportunity: 

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Product is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of MiQ’s product portfolio across the US market. Reporting to the US co-CEO, this role leads a high-performing team of product managers and directors to develop innovative, market-leading products that drive significant revenue growth and exceptional customer satisfaction. The role demands a blend of strategic acumen, technical expertise, and inspirational leadership to align product initiatives with overall business objectives and rapidly evolving market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Product Roadmapping:

  • Partner with US market leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap that aligns with MiQ’s overall business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Leverage detailed market research, commercial insights, and customer feedback to identify product opportunities and refine feature prioritization.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, user adoption, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Build, lead, and mentor an high-performing product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities, ensuring team members are equipped to meet strategic goals and recognize personal growth.
  • Instill best practices in process standardization, robust documentation, and effective methodologies across the team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate closely with Central Product teams, solutions, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure seamless product development and launch processes.
  • Establish standardized workflows and communication protocols, including coordination with MIQ’s Center of Excellence (COE), to manage resources effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with executive leadership, articulating the product vision, progress, and strategic proposals to secure buy-in and drive cross-departmental alignment.

Customer Focus & Market Insight:

  • Champion a customer-centric approach by integrating user research, data analytics, and direct customer feedback into the product development process.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to proactively adjust product strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure product features are sequenced and developed to address real market needs and drive customer success.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Promote a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the product portfolio remains agile and responsive to changing market dynamics.

Stakeholder Engagement & Revenue Growth:

  • Engage with key stakeholders at all levels, to align product strategies with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Oversee the launch and performance of new products, ensuring they meet strategic revenue targets and customer expectations.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience: 
    • At least 15 years of progressive experience in product management roles, with a proven track record of leading large, dynamic product teams and delivering market-leading innovations.
  • Skills & Expertise: 
    • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex market and customer insights into actionable product strategies and data backed decision making.
    • Deep understanding of product development processes, agile methodologies, and user-centered design principles.
    • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders across various functions and geographies.
    • Passion for technology, innovation, and creating exceptional customer experiences.

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience in scaling product initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to navigate a collaborative and decentralized work environment with diverse stakeholder contributions.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and deliver significant business impact through innovative product solutions.

Pay Transparency 

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $260,000-$300,000. This range may vary for positions outside of New York City as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
