We are currently looking for an Events Associate on a Fixed Term Contract through the rest of the year. As an Events Associate on the Marketing team, you’ll have the chance to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Support event planning and execution for B2B marketing and sales events, ensuring seamless coordination and impactful experiences.
- Collaborate with the sales teams to track event leads, manage attendee data, and assist with post-event follow-ups.
- Manage event logistics, including vendor coordination, venue setup, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
- Serve as a key point of contact for event communications, handling invitations, registrations, and stakeholder coordination.
- Assist in post-event reporting, gathering feedback, tracking ROI, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Support the execution of industry events, ensuring MiQ’s presence at key conferences, sponsorships, and networking opportunities aligns with event marketing objectives.
What you’ll bring
- 1-3 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or a related field, preferably in B2B or adtech industries.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track event leads and engagement.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple events, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in event-related messaging, invitations, and follow-ups.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills to anticipate and resolve event-related challenges.
- Ability to analyze event performance, track ROI, and contribute to post-event reporting for future improvements.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with a passion for event marketing and creating impactful brand experiences.

Pay Transparency
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $70,000-$90,000. Please note: since this role is a fixed term contract the annual salary is pro-rated for the amount of time you work with us. This range may vary for positions outside of New York City as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
