THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Programmatic Supply Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of MiQ's rapidly expanding, high-volume US programmatic business. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Programmatic Partnerships, you will be at the forefront of managing and cultivating relationships with DSPs, SSPs, and publishers. Your expertise will ensure the highest quality standards across our network and contribute to our commitment to excellence in programmatic supply management. Other core duties include, but are not limited to: observing industry trends, DSP reporting, publisher negotiations, inventory quality, and SSP development and allocation.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

The individual will report to the U.S. Sr. Director of Programmatic Partnerships. Working closely with Trading, Product, Sales, Account Management and Analytics teams, the Programmatic Partnerships team helps tie market capabilities across SSPs, DSPs and Publishers into our campaign tactics and manages large scale budgets delivered across our partner set. 

In the role you will be accountable for, but not limited to, the following:   


Delivery 

    • Aid Partnerships Director in managing DSP partners and external supply vendors from on-boarding through activation 
    • Leverage multiple data sources and BI tools to produce both regular and ad hoc reporting 
    •  Exemplify best-in-class management and deployment of deals & inventory through to DSP platforms 
    • Improve MiQ performance & efficiency through deal negotiation in our programmatic partnerships with publishers, SSPs and DSP’s 
    • Drive revenue growth on omnichannel diversified supply offerings, collaborating with sales and marketing to ensure MIQ’s packages and solutions meet market demand.
    • Accomplishing tasks on time and to a high quality, managing different deadlines and priorities

Project Management 

    • Provide day-to-day DSP partner & SSP support, including evaluating new vendor offerings, exploring business opportunities, hosting QBRs, reviewing contracts, handling troubleshooting requests, etc. 
    • Analyze trends in inventory allocation and performance at a platform, SSP, format and publisher level to help inform relationships and develop strategy 
    • Design and deliver business review, performance updates, and growth opportunity presentations to partnerships and also key internal contacts.
    • Drive business development activities and activation usage for U.S. accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals
    • Staying focused and contributing to projects. Organizing stakeholders and multiple milestones

Internal Collaboration 

    • Closely partner with Trading & Account Management teams to prioritize supply partners, integrate new supply onto campaigns, update & maintain supply templates and drive adoption of inventory based on MiQ needs 
    • Partner with Sales teams to support new business pitches and strategic accounts with inventory curation or platform capabilities 
    • Collaborate with and support MiQ’s internal marketing teams, including inputting into go-to-market materials related to partnerships & integrating partner capabilities into MiQ’s product narratives. 
    • Maintain global best practices in supply optimization related to quality, trust, brand safety and inventory diversification 
    • Collaborate with Trading department to optimize inventory distribution based on campaign requirements 
    • Establish support processes for sales, trading, and client services on topics related to supply 
    • Working with internal stakeholders, building relationships and working across differences to find solutions

Communication 

    • Maintain knowledge on existing and emerging formats. Gather market and customer information from partners and provide feedback on programmatic buying trends, private exchanges, and premium programmatic initiatives.
    • Attend strategic client meetings related to supply/ DSP offerings, including QBRs and pitches for our top clients, being a champion for omnichannel activation.
    • Establish process and resources for internal team members on programmatic partnerships and supply capabilities - participate in and lead continued education initiatives
    • Crisp and clear communication to external partners/clients or internal stakeholders; flexing communication style to persuade others and influence positive outcomes 

Innovation 

    • Identify potential new opportunities with their partnerships and make sure those relationships support key growth, monetization, and product initiatives of the company.
    • Build new and improved processes to ensure that the Programmatic Partnerships team works with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders as efficiently as possible. 
    • Establish and grow programmatic inventory access & prioritization with all publisher partners across various points of distribution
    • Support innovation for MiQ clients by identifying gaps, competitive advantages and competitive disadvantages in the market based on discussions with clients and partners
    • Acting with curiosity. Finds new and better ways of working, then applies or implements solutions to unarticulated needs, new or existing market requirements. Open to receiving and trying new ideas, processes or ways of working.

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years experience within digital advertising – inventory management, yield management, or trading experience preferred but not required. 
  • Experience working with SSPs/DSPs and programmatic marketplaces 
  • Able to make actionable and informed decisions, effective communicator 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an analytical, hands-on, rapidly changing environment 
  • Proven problem solver with a ‘make it happen’ attitude 
  •  Experience with AppNexus, DV360, and The Trade Desk preferred.

Pay Transparency 

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $80-95,000. This range may vary for positions outside of New York City as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
