What you’ll do

The Finance Partner is a key member of the finance team responsible for managing financial activities. This role involves overseeing financial processes, analyzing data, and providing insights to support decision-making. The role reports to the Finance Director or a similar senior leader and collaborates with cross-functional teams to achieve financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting. Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of departmental budgets. Monitor budget performance, identify areas of concern, and propose corrective actions as needed.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control costs to optimize spending and improve profitability. Identify cost-saving opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to implement cost reduction initiatives.
  • Forecasting: Support the forecasting process by gathering and analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and projecting future performance. Communicate forecast results to relevant stakeholders and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. Implement best practices and automation tools to enhance accuracy and effectiveness of financial operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and marketing, to align financial goals with business objectives. Provide financial guidance and support to stakeholders as needed.

What you’ll bring 

  • Relevant professional certifications required.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting, analysis, and operations.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial systems.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
