Position Summary
This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing, global business and play a critical role in building, stabilizing, and leading the treasury function across LATAM.
As Head of Treasury, you will partner closely with the LATAM Head of Finance and global finance teams, with direct exposure to senior leadership, ensuring full visibility, control, and execution of cash across multiple entities and currencies in the region.
You will own the LATAM treasury infrastructure, including banking, liquidity management, cash flow planning, and payment execution, while establishing scalable processes to support both organic growth and M&A integration.
This role operates in a complex, multi-entity and cross-border environment, requiring strong coordination across Accounting, AP, AR, FP&A, and Operations to ensure disciplined cash management, efficient funding, and controlled execution of payments across the region.
This role offers the opportunity to build and shape the treasury function from the ground up, implement structure and controls, and support the continued expansion of LATAM operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage LATAM cash position and liquidity across all entities and currencies, ensuring full visibility and control
- Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasting models, supporting operational and strategic decision-making
- Own and execute all payment activities across LATAM, ensuring accuracy, proper authorization, and compliance with internal controls
- Review and approve payment batches prepared by AP, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with funding plans
- Ensure proper segregation of duties between AP (preparation) and Treasury (execution and approval)
- Establish and optimize banking structures across LATAM, including account setup, signatories, and payment frameworks
- Manage banking relationships across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability
- Oversee intercompany funding structures and cross-border cash flows, ensuring alignment with operational and tax requirements
- Partner closely with AP and AR to manage cash outflows and inflows, ensuring alignment between payment schedules and collections
- Monitor and manage FX exposure across the region, providing insights into currency impacts and supporting risk mitigation strategies
- Establish and strengthen treasury policies, controls, and governance frameworks across all entities
- Support new entity setups and M&A integration, implementing treasury infrastructure and processes from day one
- Provide clear and structured reporting to leadership on cash position, liquidity risks, funding needs, and payment execution
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and scalability of treasury operations
- Drive the evolution of treasury capabilities, including systems, tools, and process standardization across LATAM
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5–7+ years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or related roles
- Experience operating in multi-entity, international environments (LATAM experience strongly preferred)
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth or M&A environments is strongly preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity planning, and treasury operations
- Experience managing payment execution, banking platforms, and cash controls
- Solid understanding of FX exposure and financial risk management
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (cash forecasting, liquidity planning)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems
- Ability to operate effectively in a complex, evolving environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of critical processes
- Fluent in English and Spanish(required); Portuguese is a plus
- Strong understanding of how Treasury interacts with Accounting, AP, AR, and FP&A
