Design, build, and continuously improve AI agents dedicated to Finance, connected to our tools, data, and accounting processes, in order to automate end-to-end workflows and generate measurable operational value for the Accounting & Tax organization.

We've already deployed      some AI agents using Dust and n8n, and the early results are compelling. Now we need someone to take this from experimentation to industrialization — designing the system that will power the Finance function of tomorrow.

Our ambition: shift Finance from a team spending 80% of its time producing reports and processing invoices, to one spending 80% of its time advising the business. AI agents are the central lever of this transformation.

The Team You'll Join

You'll be embedded within the Accounting & Tax team, reporting to the Director of the team, with a transversal scope across the Finance organization, partnering closely with our Business Solution Architect, Finance process owners, and working closely with the central Data team.

• GenAI APIs: OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Gemini
• Finance systems: NetSuite, Payflows, Upflow, Expensya, Anaplan
• Data & reporting: Excel, PowerBI, Looker, SQL

 

Key Responsibilities 

AI Agent Conception and Development

• Design and develop workflow-oriented AI agents: PtoP, Agents, Financial Close Agent, Bank Reconciliation Agent, E-invoicing Agent...
• Configure prompts, tools, skills, memory, guardrails, and multi-step orchestration
• Build rapid prototypes and evolve them into robust, production-ready solutions
• Own the full agent lifecycle: design, test, deploy, and monitor

Integration with Finance Systems

• Connect agents to internal systems: NetSuite, Payflows, Upflow, Expensya, Anaplan Drive, etc.     
• Automate actions such as journal entry creation, invoice validation, anomaly detection, draft generation, and exception routing
• Master API integrations, webhooks, and MCP connectors between Finance tools and AI platforms

Iteration and Continuous Optimization

• Test agents with pilot users within the Accounting & Tax teams
• Analyze feedback, errors, and adoption metrics
• Iterate to improve accuracy, user experience, and reliability
• Maintain and evolve agent logic as processes change over time

Security, Quality and Compliance

• Own the security and compliance of agents within your scope
• Implement data access controls, validation rules, and auditability for sensitive use cases (financial, tax, and personal data)
• Document each agent clearly: objective, scope, limitations, KPIs, and roadmap

Adoption and Change Management

• Ensure a clean and well-structured agentic environment for Finance users
• Contribute to Mirakl's internal Agent Builders guild
• Enable Finance teams to adopt agents as their standard way of working
• Act as an AI champion within the Accounting & Tax organization

Product Mindset & Soft Skills

• Ability to understand Finance processes, identify friction points and translate it into agent logic
• Translate ambiguous needs into clear, structured workflows
• Curious, autonomous, proactive: you explore new tools without waiting to be told what to build
• Excellent communication skills: ablity to present complex technical solutions to non-technical Finance stakeholders
• Structured and rigorous: you document what you build and think about scalability from day one
• Measure and track impact

Collaborative: you work hand-in-hand with Finance process owners, the Solution architect and the Data team.     

 

You'll Love This Job If you have 

• You have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer with a strong Software Engineering skills
• Proven experience building AI agents using LLMs, RAG, MCP and related technologies with architectural design experience
• Experience in Finance workflows implementation or transformation (P2P, O2C, Record-to-Report, e-invoicing, financial close) is a strong differentiator
• Proficient in Python & data fundamentals (SQL, JSON, data structuring)
• Production deployment expertise - you've shipped AI solutions in production
• Experience with API integrations, MCP, webhooks, and connectors
• Experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier or equivalent)
• Proficiency with Finance tools: NetSuite or equivalent ERP/accounting platforms
• Ability to design and implement agent product with multi step agentic workflows
• Curiosity and continuous learning - you stay current with AI/ML trends and love exploring new technologies
• Strong communication skills in both English and French

The position is open for a Permanent contract (CDI), based in Paris or Bordeaux 4 days on site.
