About the role:

We are now looking to add a curious and data-driven Site Merchandising, Senior Associate to fuel our growth efforts. This role will sit within the Site Merchandising team, where you will drive ideation and execution for our merchandising strategy, focusing on merchandising strategy and promotional plans, both paid and unpaid, website taxonomy, and the UX/UI. Further, you will help own the business metrics, analyzing data and proposing and implementing solutions to improve the customer experience. 

Responsibilities:

  • Merchandising Strategy: Develop and implement effective site merchandising strategies to enhance the visibility and performance of both new and existing products. This includes the ideation and execution of new strategies for the homepage as well as regular updates to content and taxonomy to drive growth.
  • Merchandising Calendar Management: Own and manage the merchandising calendar across various channels to ensure it aligns with key business goals, seasonal sales opportunities, and promotional events.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across Marketing, Product, and Procurement to ensure seamless execution of merchandising strategies that drive both revenue growth and an improved customer experience.
  • Performance Tracking & Analysis: Monitor and analyze key site metrics, such as conversion rates, engagement, and revenue, to identify opportunities for growth. Implement successful changes to improve site performance.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights to identify successes and areas of improvement. Use data to continuously refine and optimize merchandising strategies to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Collaboration with Product Team: Work alongside the Product team to define requirements for new site features aimed at optimizing the shopping experience. Additionally, implement experiments to assess the effectiveness of different merchandising approaches and content strategies.
  • Oversee the Shopper Marketing Program: Lead the strategy for our paid vendor promotions and own the program management end to end. Be responsible for securing revenue from our vendor partners, planning and executing paid campaigns, and running all post-promotion analysis to track program success.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce site merchandising
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to make informed decisions and optimize site performance. Experience with SQL is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to execute merchandising strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with paid digital merchandising/advertising and vendor relationship management is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and energetic individual with a high level of initiative who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with ambiguity, and has a passion for continuous improvement.
