Director of Operations

POSITION:  Director of Operations

WORK LOCATION:  575 Northwest Ave., Northlake, IL 60164 

WORK HOURS:  40 hours/week or Full-time

SALARY RANGE:  $130,000 ~ $169,125 per year

JOB DUTIES:

Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all facility operations, including Inventory and Receiving, Quality Control/Assurance, Maintenance, Sanitation, Production, and Shipping, ensuring operational excellence and cross-functional alignment. Oversee the accuracy and integrity of Warehouse Management (WMS) and Inventory Management Systems (IMS) to ensure precise, efficient, and high-quality order fulfillment. Enhance operational safety in collaboration with the Environmental Health and Safety team. Lead and mentor a team of exempt leaders, building a strong talent pipeline through structured coaching, succession planning, and accountability frameworks. Optimize business workflows by analyzing complex data to identify trends and resolve issues. Ensure facility-wide compliance with company policies, food safety protocols, and good manufacturing practices (GMP). Drive cost reductions by executing efficient and accurate processes across all departments. Set and communicate clear, measurable objectives at both the team and individual levels. Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and Sanitation leaders to maintain top-tier food safety and regulatory compliance standards. Work closely with HR on staffing strategies, including hiring, performance management, disciplinary actions, and promotions. Maintain full financial accountability for the facility, including ownership of Profit & Loss (P&L) management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related
• 2 years of experience in job offered or related
  • 2 years of experience must include operations management, P&L management, quality assurance management, inventory and receiving, and people’s management within the e-commerce industry.
