- Process medical records email, fax line and phone calls.
- Process Additional Documentation Request (ADR) received from CMS and Private Insurances.
- Analyze and troubleshoot all issues with internal EMR systems pertaining to clinical processing of visits, documents, data, billing and other issues as needed.
- Create best-practice processes for EMR systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with office and field staff.
- Conduct business in a manner that displays a high level of confidentiality, and integrity at all times.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Home Health or Hospice setting.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience using HCHB to perform operations relating to the Home Health and Hospice Business model.
- Understanding HIPAAs compliance rules and regulations.
- Understanding of CMS guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information and communicate with all levels of management.
- Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
