- Maintain and support core health information systems, including EHRs, patient scheduling, and documentation tools.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to analyze system requirements and workflows.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Support regulatory and compliance reporting by ensuring accurate data collection and integration across systems.
- Assist in managing user access, permissions, and training for clinical systems.
- Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders on upgrades, maintenance, and testing.
- Participate in projects focused on data quality, system enhancements, and workflow improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare IT, ideally in home health or hospice settings.
- Strong working knowledge of EHR systems such as Homecare Homebase, Epic, or MatrixCare.
- Experience with SQL, data integration tools, or health IT interfaces preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, CMS regulations, and quality metrics in post-acute care settings.
