This position reports to the Accounting and Benefits Manager and supports the operations of Instructional Telecommunications Foundation, Inc. dba Mission Telecom (MT) and Independent Spectrum, LLC (IS) by ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded into the general ledger and uses this data to respond to questions on all related company activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record monthly royalty income for MT and IS
  • Record all approved vendor invoices for MT and IS
  • Record all approved employee expense reimbursements – assuring all documentation is submitted with expense report
  • Annual report filing with numerous states for MT and IS
  • Prepare annual 1099s for MT and IS
  • Enter all company credit card transactions and follow up with all required documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite
  • Proficient and skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and the ability to reconcile transactions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote team environment
  • Must have strong work ethic, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
  • Minimum 1-3 years of education and/or a related field or equivalent experience

 

Salary and Benefits:

  • Annual salary of $55,000 - $60,000 based on experience.
  • Fully paid medical, dental, vision, short/long term disability and life/AD&D insurance
  • 85% of dependent coverage for medical, dental, and vision
  • Partial phone and internet reimbursement (max of $50 each per month)
  • 5% Safe Harbor contribution into a 401K
  • Unlimited PTO
  • 14 paid holidays per year
