Job Overview
The Occupational Health Services Specialist I is responsible for overseeing each step in the drug and occupational health screening environment to ensure operations are administered in an accurate and timely manner as part of AssureHire’s pre/post-employment screening process. The OHS Specialist II will serve as a senior subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and largely priority and hyper care clients. Daily functions include resolving routine client queries, monitoring account specific system performance, troubleshooting existing orders and managing escalated concerns. The OHS Specialist II will support clients and internal stakeholders through a variety of communication channels, including online case management, chat, video conference and email correspondence. Under the direct support of the OHS Senior Team Lead, the OHS Specialist II will also attend client discovery calls and assist with ongoing account retention and client education needs as requested.
Responsibilities:
- Confirm and expire drug tests based on vendor confirmation
- Check status on occupational health services completed 48-72 hours prior
- Adhere to and assist in creating and maintaining client specifics
- Contact vendors for additional information on testing requests
- Work with applicants in remote locations to find collection sites in their area, manually registering them for testing when necessary
- Manually registering applicants using the zip code associated with their current address when not registered within 24 hours of an invite being sent
- Compose and send occupational health test registration information to applicants
- Provide timely resolution to inbound OHS operations caseload requests from clients and internal stakeholders
Occupational Health Specialist Role Qualifications:
Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality; highly organized; production and planning skills required; ability to manage time and workload effectively; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to maintain stability under pressure and be flexible/willing to modify plans and behavior when necessary; ability to be a positive representative of the Company both internally and externally.
