Job Summary
Seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented and motivated Tax Administrative Assistant to join our internal Tax Team within the broader FP&A group. This role supports our Tax Team with administrative tasks, external firm communications, and document management during peak seasons and throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing tax communications, including emails and secure portal messages.
- Organize and maintain tax-related documents within secure internal systems in compliance with data privacy standards.
- Support the team with tracking deadlines, deliverables, and tax filing follow-ups and maintain internal tax calendars.
- Perform limited data entry related to tax filings, sales/use tax, and other tax obligations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Operations) to gather required documentation or information.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and correspondence related to tax matters.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience or internship in accounting, finance, or administrative roles required, tax experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting or tax principles and administrative procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a digital-first environment with remote tools, independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word); familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud-based document management systems (e.g., Google Drive, SharePoint) preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Eagerness to learn and work collaboratively with an internal team.
